@Mcmanus     YES, AMEN to that. There will be plenty of blitzing by SEA, but Vrabel & McDaniels will have a game plan for some quick dumpoffs and checkdowns. I think it will be a defensive battle in the 1st half and maybe some BIG runs by Stevenson & Henderson, but PATS D keeps them in this and in classic fashion the PATS win the battle in the 4th in an EPIC Superbowl and WIN outright!!

Very fishy that oddsmakers haven't budged the line with Drake Maye's "injury". It's as if they are begging for more Seattle-4.5 $$, IMHO.

@Seahawks14   Happens every year bud. What do you think the PATS were saying vs the NYG both times they lost to them. I believe NYG were 5th seeds each time they beat the PATS who were #1 seeds.

@SixGod76  Yeah, but it didn't seem to matter much in a snowy 2nd hlf vs the crowned jewel of Defenses in NFL this year, being Denver. Granted, PATS only scored 10 pts, but PATS D just seems to constantly be shutting teams down, NOT shutout, but being beasts on the field and winning games for the team when Drake and the O seem to sputter. DEFENSE wins championships and PATS are 9-0 on the road this year for a reason. It doesn't seem to bother this team, one bit

This is a typical SHEEPLE bet. 250th celebration, Trump buddies with Kraft. Pats getting 5 points. If odds makers really wanted to make things interesting, they would make this a Pick'em. 

Perhaps the reason is that they only played one team on the road with a winning record?

And that team was the Bills, who actually outgained the Pats, but lost by a FG as time expired.

first off, Seattle just beat a team @ home in the Rams that gave up 30 "pure" pts per game on the road. ...Carolina / Young beat that defense and alsmost did it again if not for a gaff by Young. Seattles not home, dont matter who they played @ home. Go check the teams Seattle played on the road using a recent form series. SF / Carolina / Atl / Tenn. Cam ward put 24 pts on that Seattle defense..just say-n

I hate Seahawks but to me they’ve been most complete team all season. A lot of dominant wins.

I believe these 2 teams will score, seattle on the road on D is different even though they are really good and with Seattle offence clicking this will go over the total.

Vrebal will have lots of quick passes so Maye won't get sacked also if Maye gets passed the front line he will run with the ball.

As for the game Seattle wins but I don't know if they cover the 4.5.

I agree with Wizerguy's take. I've seen other past Superbowls mentioned here for comparisons. My own personal Superbowl comparison is that I feel this game will be exactly like the Bengals vs Rams Superbowl. It's the same exact spread of the fave being -4.5 with almost the same betting % of 70% on Seattle. I think the winner wins by 3 pts and NFL has their dramatic ending, like almost the last handful of superbowls, minus the Philly vs KC blowout, last yr. After that game and lack of drama, I bet this one turns out to somehow be dramatic with a win in the final 2mins and by a FG. That is my take and I am sticking with it!!
