No, That's NOT the way it happened. I called HIM. He did not call ME. We talked about his 0-3 Saturday and my input was that the Ducks were far and away his best bet of the day. It wasn't a question of chasing. It was a matter of switching from flat-betting weakness to Unit-betting strength.
And you will see more of it as CG makes his adjustments from flat-betting to a more hybrid type of Unit betting.
Goose, who called who is irrelevant.
The truth is, the only reason CG bet 6g on the Ducks is because of how his current day was going. There is no possible way he goes from 1k to 6k unless he was down/desperate/frustrated/all of the above. I take you at your word that it was his best bet of the day, but 1 to 6 just doesn't happen that way.
I know it, you know it, and most importantly, CG knows it. And I don't think CG is dumb enough to dispute this.

What could better demonstrate a total state of disillusionment than Vanzack, claiming to know what represents professionalism in gambling when he can't even hit 30% of his NFL picks?

If you guys were really basing bet amounts on a serious unit betting system, the bet amounts would be locked in before the first game starts. There would be no adding based on previous outcomes, no "phone calls" to discuss the 0-3 day and come up with a new plan.
To even try to argue that emotion and frustration played no role in the bet amount is laughable.

There is no "you guys". There is only Nick. He is and always has been his own man. Sometimes he will call me to bounce ideas off, but he ultimately ALWAYS makes his own decisions.
As for the Ducks bet, I simply convinced him that was his best pick of the day and, thankfully, for once, he listened to me.
As I've said before, Flat Betting will get you nowhere and loose you big vig in the process. Each of your game wagers should be Unit Graded for optimum profit results. At the end of the season it separates the winners from the losers guys. That's what it does.

You are a complete f'n idiot. The whole post. You are equally stupid so who cares who called who. I don't need to rehash the chase play on the mighty ducks.
If dipshit has hit 58% the last 5 years how could that not make him money flat betting? When I was a loser like you and youre boy, I chased and bet random amounts at 10% juice. Once I started flat betting at 5% or less juice I've done pretty well. Not Vanzack big yacht wise, but still ok where I won't have to work a real job again.
Let's here the facts for this year please. 40% winners and down and least 30k?
Didn't you promise not to ever post here again? Coke heads + clowns+ people who don't keep their word separates winners from losers. Now throw out some slurs like you and you're boy are best at.

Hey Van, I haven't seen you in the super contest thread lately....How have you been doing in your contest picks this year?
Fu kk off moron. Van can't finish in the top 10 every year. Once in a while square plays win for a while. How's your boy mkeru doing, last i saw he was down over 100 units last week. Haven't seen him since lol.

Ya know, I was thinking it's pretty clear who the winners and losers are in this thread and it should just disappear.....but heck, the losers usually dig themselves bigger graves so lets keep it going.

Hey retard, there is no discussion table ok. This is website promotions, aka the dump where moronic threads go to die. If it wasn't for a few people having some fun kicking this rotten corpse, nobody would even be in here.... Did you see that Toledo cover last night:)

This is almost comedy at point. Let's do a quick analysis of CG.
-He have a grown man in his late 20's
-Quit his job to move to Vegas and become a professional handicapper with a small bankroll
-An alcoholic who suffers from confirmation bias
-Zero money management and throws out BOMB plays only after he's either mad or on a losing streak.
-Does not use a single good online book that offers reduce juice but goes around town "line-shopping" in a Sonata.
-Football is his "best" sport but he's hardly made much of a profit more than halfway into the season.
When you summarize it like that its actually quite sad and for a minute I feel bad for the guy...but then you can think back to all the advice he ignored and stupid shiit hes done and its tough to have any sympathy for him.

As you state - correctly - each of your game wagers should be graded from "best" to "worst" and wager amounts should be assigned accordingly.
Along these lines - you should buy more stock of companies whose price is going to go up, and less stock of companies whose stock price is going to stay the same.
I hope you see where I am going. While your statement is factually correct - it is very difficult to practice - and therefore is why most gambler should flat bet. If you have a way to assign weighted risk (accurately) to wagers - then by all means - you should have a staking strategy that matches your risk profile.
But let me state with 100% confidence that this is not CG - never has been CG - and he could care less about learning how to do this.
So flat betting covers a lot of sins of the average gambler. And when I say average - I don't mean bad or losing either. I just mean someone who doesn't have the skill to assign proper win % to future events - which lets face it - most of us don't have.
CG is a great candidate to flat bet. He is impulsive. He is emotional. He looks to have "good days" and is prone to betting based on what has happened earlier in the day. He should absolutely 100% be flat betting - no question about it.
He has no criteria for not flat betting - and for assigning staking profiles. Should Oregon have been 6k and a normal bet 550 bucks? It was 10 times more likely to win than a normal bet? Or as Rangerz says above - was it more based on the need to not go to bed down for that day?
There is no scenario where CG shouldn't be flat betting. And this does not disprove your statement either - that flat betting isn't as profitable as having an accurate staking system. You are right about the concept - but wrong about it applying to CG.
I never met a hater better than me. I am on twitter

Baylor Bears MONEY LINE (-140) $4200/$3000. Listen I think this team is
being disrespected at home and WLTG won't lose this game. Team averages
310 rushing and 356 passing. I see a lot of Chokelahoma love which
makes me like this play even more and reason I went HUGE. Spread is
-2.5 and -3 everywhere crazy risking an extra $900 on vig u could say
but I don't want to risk a 1-2 pt Baylor win as if it is wild someone
might go for two at some point and screw up the game spread. Baylor gets
a W at home and I cash. New Qb has thrown 9td and 0 int and yes I am
aware it's only his second start. Let's go BEARS! Heading to release
the ducks now as well

Oregon Ducks +10.5 (-110) $2750/$2500. We know about the Ducks D I am
aware. But this running game and offense is on fire with Adams at the
helm. When do u get the ducks as a dog let alone +10.5? Hollywood
getting that BLIT best line in town as usual. Line is ducks +9.5 most
places and +10 at a few but one book was phantomly offering me +10.5 and
I obliged. Not screwing around with any plays tonight or tomm and
none sat until these two. If I go down I am going down with two teams
who are confident as hell and are both top 5 in running the rock. CG
loves teams who pound the rock and run at will on there opponents.
Stanford is a machine no doubt but is this a game where they settle for
fg's? Like the old Stanford team. Can there D completely shut down the
speed and athleticism the ducks have on offense? Ducks keep this one
within the number. Going to be hard to wait to sat but I did the right
thing IMO and took my two fav games. Two offensive machines who run the
rock and impose there will on there opponents. The ducks are 4-0 ATS on
the road and I see another strong performance sat. LETS GO BAYLOR and
DUCKS

Wow. He bought Baylor down after the public drove that line down 4 points???? Why??? The public gave him a mile and he took an inch and paid $900 for it!!
Of all the teams in CFB, this one puts up points in their sleep, and buying points with them is an awful decision, especially on a push line of 3 (by the way, I don't even think Baylor knows what a FG is with their offense!).

Totally agree. Oklahoma has been on a mission since the loss to Texas woke them up. In their last 2 games Baylor gave up 258 yards rushing to Kansas St and 232 to Iowa St. !?! Perine may hit 300 again. Also, Stidham's first test against a real defense, good luck with that. Boomer Sooner.
