If anyone thought I was kidding about this.... I am not.
Up and running on Pinnacle and MB in an hour.
Crazy.
Ok, I am absolutely interested. We need a white paper report on this. However, maybe this should be kept out of any main thread and only sent by email? Just to reduce any possible complications that life can deliver unexpectedly.
Along that line, friend request has been sent Van.
PM for the skinny on the down low

Scalabrine, you are one million percent wrong about buying points, no matter how many times its happened to you in your life.
Books let you buy points, because long term its a losing prop and they know that the juice will destroy you in the end.
You can tell us all about your close losses, but that doesnt change the fact that its still a losing prop. If it was a winning prop, books would never let you buy points.
I used to write for one of the biggest east coast books and they would laugh their fools off at people buying points. They knew long term it was more money in their pockets.
It's about perspective and bet sizing. If you are consistently buying points, your winning percentage will need to be too great to survive over the long term and its a losing strategy.
If you aggressively cap a game as a 1/2 pt game and your bet size is 10X Your regular bet size, buying a PT in that instance to bring it to what is essentially a ML, although costly, can be worth it, and psychologically can get you to pull the trigger as well (whereas you wouldn't have made a potential winning bet otherwise without buying the .5 pt).

well theres mistake number 2 on your part. If you cap a game as a 1/2 point game, then you have no business playing that game and for sure without any doubts, you should not be betting it for 10x.
a 1/2 point difference on a game should be an automatic pass. why would you be playing such a game.

I have been watching your thread. I am a reality show producer in Hollywood and would like to talk to you about doing a show tracking a gambler and his quest to make it in Vegas. After reading your thread, it is apparent that you are very charasmatic and a little crazy as well. You would make great train wreck TV for the masses. If you are intersted, please PM me.
Thanks,
Jeremy

So get this... I check vegas insider etc and it's -110 juice everywhere with some books Wiscy +1 -110 and others Wiscy +1.5 -110 so the book I went to was +1.5 -110 on vegas insider... go to place bet and the guy tells me they are offering -105 juice specials on each side.. So very nice to get the -105 juice for once.. This particular book is doing it from now I guess through the end of the tourney... I made my unc -4.5 (-110) $2200/$2000 and Gonzaga -6 (-110) $2200/$2000 bets there last sat and sunday so I guess they just started the -105 juice thing in the sweet 16 round. awesome to get the -105
NOW LETS GO BADGERS... this team doesn't foul, dosent turn it over and have so many players.. ZONA is an incredible team as well but I really think the Badgers experience and making it to the final four last year and being a missed shot away for playing for the WORLD TITLE will really thrive them to win today.. took the +1.5 to be safe at that JUICE SPECIAL of -105

Good Work CG. already you pocketed 50 bucks, a nice tilapia dinner.
I LOVE Wisky tonight. Love how ALL the experts are all over AZ. Wisconsin doesn't foul, and they have been beating people with other players stepping up. Frank the Tank has not been as sharp as usual this tourney, but I think he has a HUGE game against Kaleb Tarzewski. Tarzewski is not agile enough to guard a player like Kaminsky, who can step back and hit jumpers, so they need to double team him. That should leave guys like Bronson Koenig to have a big night.
My prediction: Wisco wins by 5. Bronson Koenig goes absolutely off for 25. Boom.
