@wgomel21 Alot iof decent matches. I will go out on a limb and say perhaps you were talking about Jelena because you used the term "fiesty" with a second close guess Emma......
Good call, looking forward to the Penko/ Z cat fight. ![]()

Terrible season so far for Alex and it's not like she had to do anything super special to beat Mirra. But I actually think this is a REALLY good spot for her against Osaka for a few reasons. I've been wrong before though so I guess we'll see.

If someone outside of the top 25 wins sw19 I don't think it will be that surprising so long as that person is Madison Keys. The only person that's even been capable of slowing her down was Pegs and that could've swung either way.
On her best day Keys won't lose to Kessler. But I do think that Kessler is capable of keeping it interesting and if Keys wavers any she could possibly snatch the W. Just comparing Keys to fellow slam champs you would have to call her one of the sw19 favorites based on form.
She does need points. Does she go for the low hanging fruit here (only a 250 tourney tho) or look to go bigger next week? She made a final and had to retire from a set up a week before Roland Garros. How does that factor into her approach here?
Kessler whiffed on her attempt to defend her Nottingham title which must've been disappointing. From watching Cart this week and listening to her interviews I know one thing for sure, she's hungry.

Speaking of Wimbledon and seeding, in my studies I've noticed that there is a very interesting dynamic unfolding this year that we should absolutely keep an eye on because the third round could end up being a historic bloodbath that most won't see coming.
We are all aware of the performances of the top tier seeds, outside of Pegula, so far this grass swing. They have been awful.
Now look at the back end of the seeded players. Seeds 20+ include nearly every star of grass season this year outside of Pegs and Noskova.
Bouzkova, Navarro, Keys, Mertens, Li, Eala, Raducanu, Vekic... All seeded 20+
The underwhelming top players will clash with these confident overachievers in round 3.
Bloodbath. You heard it here first.

Hopefully Zeynep can defend her second serve better. She was rolling it in during set 3 against Dart and nope, no no that won't work against Jelena as she will eat that alive all day long. It would be ugly. Sonmez will be able to get some breaks herself though and she will likely have to no matter what. But to win she'll definitely need to keep her 1stIn% high and figure out how to remain respectable on 2nd. Won't be easy.
I do like that she got an extra day off with the walkover. That should help. She can get a little lazy on serve when fatigued late in matches. She has Ons Jabeur's long time coach this year (with Ons as mentor) and you can tell she's been able to step her grass game up as a result.
Will be rooting for her for sure. Obviously one of, if not my favorite player on tour. She really came through for me in the clutch a couple days ago as she seems to always do every time when I really need her to. Just like she's always done ever since we discovered her all those years ago in Merida. Good times.

Recap on Oakland last night. Headed into the bottom 9 we were up 1-0. After the first homerun we would have cashed out again do not like rolling the dice or having that much exposure. It would have been a repeat of the Indians. When it is all said and done, we would have cashed out twice. Sorry cannot always be around for instruction. With the way bullpens have been lately you just cannot leave yourself that vulnerable. Onto tennis.

Early action again nothing crazy and infield single would be just fine in this case let's have a tight match. ![]()
Jelena Ostapenko/ Zeynep Sonmez Over 21.5

One more thing for whatever reason beginning to get very anxious being in this same thread. Due to the fact that Lord B has provided so much information feel like we should stay here but my crazy mind is telling me move to another. If I like the Soap header call it as the world turns if that makes you happy. See what the rat's nest does, a lot of craziness going on. For those that can shut it down at any time you are lucky, it never stops for me, learned to deal with it but when we get over stimulated it is difficult to manage.

*Not sure how you want to grade it. A lot of grinding for really no reason but some of you have asked to provide MLB. Ask yourself was it really worth the stress? The answer should be no, but our addiction tells us otherwise.

Moving forward, our next play will be on another thread. For whatever reason feel obligated to post a play to have everyone including myself action, not what we want to do.

In play
We are back on serve so our play appears to be going as planned. Let me try to explain, it is not even 6 am central time and I am all stressed out. My mind is all over the place and it is very unsettling. Put myself there all because of posting my play. Just not ready mentally to put myself through this no matter the result. Anyway, back to tennis just know this is not easy for me.

If it hits feel fortunate, if it loses which is highly likely at this point will go silent for a little while to get my mind right. We cannot be investing our hard-earned dollars when we are like this. So out of sorts have not even cared to watch a point of the match, sure I have checked the market a couple of times to let me know this play should never have been considered especially after reading Lord B's cliff notes. For whatever reason my mind is just not in the right place. Going to step away to clear my mind, will be back when all of this subsides.

What causes this stress? Is it the games? The addiction? No need for an answer to me or is.
Stillness is the key. Relax brother you do such good work. I realize this is easy to say,. I get stressed as well. So I understand. I have been working hard to navigate.
Thanks for the insights per usual

Our addiction. If my mind was right would have applied Lord B's cliff notes to our decision. Would have been a quick PASS.

*After reading this why would anyone with any sense think this is the right move. Blew a tire now because of our addiction (thirst for action) have put us in an uncomfortable position. Instead of scrambling to get back even will wait for the golden opportunity. No clue what sport it will be but have to sideline myself so we do not get ourselves in trouble. We have been down this road so many times and you would think we would learn from our mistakes. Our addiction took over resulting in bad decisions. Do I enjoy putting myself out there like this, the answer is no but if you guys are following, think it is wise to know what is going on.

She takes the lead 2-1. Just waking up I didn't like the price waited for her to lose. And boy she hasn't won a game since, lol. She must of woke up Osaka.

This post should have been acknowledged. Not really the direction we would go but your thoughts were in the right place. Meaning you felt the dogs would not be barking, so far you were correct. ![]()

Last 2 days my starts have been horrendous, that's okay *nha have an entire night to get back. It was like I was waiting for this early morning ass whooping. I jumped on her as soon as I said I hope she loses this break and it was all down hill from there real fast. Didn't even turn it on. Followed the numbers. She got smoked, on to the next....
What is your confidence rating on Ruse beating Emma.
Emma is on fire and Ruse beat a hungover Noskova and I didnt. See her 2nd win.....Emma is scary to get against but I believe your assessment is correct. I'm thinking of throwing more on her since Kessler is starting to fade.
