Not sure why I feel compelled to explain myself but will do so AGAIN since there may be some confusion. I love working tennis matches does that mean we are any good at it no it really does not, sure is challenging and most of the time we welcome the challenge. Over the years some of our daily followers who like our intentions have asked for our read on multiple sports. These are the same guys who encouraged me to keep after it even though we were making mud. The reason for not posting in the appropriate sports thread.....  we do not want all the attention, nor do we want to play tug a war explaining our position in multiple threads. Typically, the tennis thread has the least amount of traffic, and it is where I feel the most comfortable. When you guys start with all the nonsense our thread goes to the hot top section which results in a problem. Just read what Lord B and I are posting, if you feel like commenting just use your head before striking your keyboard.

If you guys are trying to figure out what is going on with the rat's nest/ my brain. Here is where we stand, we made the play light honestly strictly because we were nervous of yesterday's Turd fest would carry over. The positive is we did think Valentine would give Tom issues. The negative where we were dead wrong was thought Tom would show resistance. If we are lucky enough for Tom to wake up, we will fire on another play. If match continues the way it has gone, we are going to hunker down work behind the scenes and get ourselves going back in the positive direction.

Now we are back on serve, if I were wanting to risk something on Emma would be anxious too but we have to see more of the match to unfold before you take that risk. Why ruin your momentum of being 1-0? 

Another thing to note was Calde did say something that you should think about. Limit your plays. I am as guilty as the next guy especially after grabbing the morning W. It is driving me nuts not having action but if you want to quit messing around and actually make money this is the best way to go. 

So, you guys can understand how I think. The Emma match was not even on the radar in last night's review. Simply turned the tv on saw that Iga isn't wasn't sharp and knew Emma was coming in with some momentum and was playing with enough confidence would take advantage. It is as simple as that.

As evidenced by Iga and Mirra today, many of the contenders will be much more concerned about next week and their physical condition going into next week than they are concerned about this week. This doesn't mean they will lose but it does make players like that unplayable and brings the fade into the conversation.

This often causes other players who don't quite have the same level of aspirations going into Wimbledon to ratchet up their aspirations to snatch one of these titles. It's not even about the elite players wanting to lose or not wanting to win, it's just about some other players wanting it more this week.

 Your girl Clervie, who beat Bartunkova to win girls Wimbledon a few years ago, has a pretty decent matchup against Polina in quals.

Either to win straight up or go over.

Appreciate the lead in but not mentally ready to think about Wimbledon qualifications. Too much going on in the rat's nest. Have too many friends begging for Diamonds.
