So my initial reaction was that this match is really really super tight. But after digging a little deeper I honestly like Rodio in this. At the beginning of last year she had fallen down to 300 so she dropped down to low level ITF tournaments and won 77 matches and 7 titles in 2023. 

This year she's playing more tour matches and has had encouraging results. Along with the May h2h win she also performed well in USO qualifying and took a set off Wang in the main draw. Hontama has been pretty unimpressive EXCEPT for the win against Yastremka. I don't know how that match played out or how much a recent huge, and seemingly outlier, win like that affects the market

Arina came thru...was gonna tail for 2 units but bought out for 1 unit after seeing how both players can't seek to hold their serve. I don't have the stomach to watch these type of matches.

Can we say frustrating. Up 5-4 and 15-luv serving she blows it, up a minibreak and she blows both serves, and finally up 3-1 and 40-15 serving in second set and she blows it. Had to vent on to the next match.

 What I don't get is, if Rakhimova wanted to tank, why went to all that trouble and played so many games until 3rd set tiebreak.

In Toyko the carrot is dangling. Tempted to throw the right hook on this one. Time to do some homework. Go through the lines and talk to me. Want to see if anyone see's what we see.
