Majchrzak is in very sharp grass form. He beat Tabilo in straight sets, and that was not a fluke profile-wise: clean returning, good timing, and controlled baseline aggression. Svajda also looked good, but his path was softer after the Bellucci cancellation and then beating Llamas Ruiz. Svajda is talented and quick, but Majchrzak is playing with more authority right now and has the better current grass rhythm.
Lehecka should be a heavy favorite. His first-round win over Popyrin was one of the cleaner grass signals on the ATP side: straight sets, controlled serving, and big-hitting without panic. Molcan beating Altmaier is a nice result, but Molcan is not naturally a grass player. He wants time, spin, and rhythm. Lehecka takes that away. On grass, Lehecka’s serve/forehand combo is simply much more dangerous, and his backhand holds up well enough in fast exchanges. Lehecka 3-0 or 3-1.

Sure, I'll join in on the "fun".

This is one of my favorite underdog reads. Shnaider is a strong player and handled Lys in straights, but Samsonova’s serve and first-strike power are much scarier on grass. Samsonova beat Polina Kudermetova comfortably and has the type of game that can flip service games quickly. Shnaider is steadier and more complete, but Samsonova’s grass upside is bigger because she can win cheap points and rush opponents. If Samsonova’s first serve percentage is solid, she can absolutely win this outright.

@elise @elisethmanning It’s good to see you creating your own thread and sharing your plays. Now let’s see what you’ve got and how your analysis holds up in the discussion
Good luck moving forward, by the way..
I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

I had write ups for all 5 plays initially and the site kept giving me errors . I thought Mensik had it except he went 2/15 on break points which is astounding. As a fan , can’t help but be happy for Grigor, great guy and great player .
Overall , the plays went 4-3. Sorry it wasn’t better ? ??

I didn't agree with your write ups because you skewed your bias towards a single player.
You forgot to mention their opponents wguch you briefly touched on.
Otto played a grueling 5 set match vs Shelton which was by far the longest of his shirt career. Beating s top 5 player emotions can run high.
Z Svaj is playing for his father. He ran out of gas in Roland Garros but he is playing above the rim. He mad a far run on the last slam, also a young up and Conner combined with I believe he has great stats on grass. It's not like he was playing anyone special.
That's all....... And Fiery has been pretty decent on grass so far in addition but I don't blame you for picking Otto.
