How can you not love Chewbacca's performance, Bravo!!
Semifinals
@Gtr7783 Schneider is not poised enough to regroup unfortunately. Chewy is so calm and collected. Schneider had her on the ropes 4-2 in the tie break and she went on to win the next 5 points to take the set. I bet big on Schneider and (.unfortunately) I know this one is over.
Bringit is way better at prematch betting than I am - if I ever go in and say I am 100% certain he is incorrect that should be your clue I am correct - because I basically never take that opinion and voice it unless I am certain ! I don’t do it for internet fame or bullshit like that - I do it trying to repay them for helping you guys

Chewy opens up a huge dog at Pinnacle ... ( +329 )
No play from us on the Final. Just going to cheer for our future. ![]()

Personally, do not know much about hockey just trying to sprinkle a little of our magic dust on it.

Bald Dog Special fell short. We did jump on the As live if anyone is interested.
Bad luck in the bottom of the 9th. May the regression begin.
*Losing day at the office today, that is a wrap for me in this thread!

As everyone knows, they had that game wrapped up, there were a strike away from winning in the ninth and they choked it... That was unfortunate... I dumped that loss on a total. In w n b a and won it back luckily...

Mirra is of course the stronger player - but the odds for tomorrow are insane - odds +340 on Maja - yes please - Mirra is notorious for not handling pressure very well - and the crowd will be on Majas side - if Mirra struggles at any point tomorrow - this will spiral out of control - this is a no brainer

The last time Mirra got on the wrong side of the French crowd she lost to a +500 underdog in straight sets. Maja may not be the hometown hero like Boisson but the crowd will almost certainly look to rally around Cinderella in this situation.
If Mirra is on her best behavior she should be able to endure this but if she starts getting bratty, as we have seen before, the crowd will be quick to turn on her which would likely impact the match significantly.
And then you have the pressure. Mirra is, and has been for several years, a "future grand slam champion". Maja is simply a qualifier who came in with no expectations and you can tell that by how freely she is able to play.
Mirra's most notable meltdown this year was, in my opinion, a direct result of too much pressure and the fear of failing to live up to expectations. She failed to defend her first masters title from last year after an early exit and as a result she came to Indian Wells with double the pressure to defend that result and we saw how that played out against Siniakova.
Even if you don't bet against her before the match it would be foolish for everyone to not at least be prepared to jump in should things start going sideways.

Andreeva leads the tour with 35 wins. She just smashed Kostyuk after losing twice to her without winning a set. She also ended Kostyuk's 17 game match-play victories on clay. She is only 19 so of course she is going to be immature at times.
Andreeva wins in two for the title.
