I have a futures bet on "the field" (which for me includes safina, since my book stupidly didnt list her), serena and venus. All plus money enough so that any one of them winning the tournament ensures a profit, with more money tilted toward the Williams'. But I feel cocky and am betting all my remaining funds on the Williams to both win today in a parlay, only slightly fearing Safina.
Locked in at Venus -350/Serena -400 the moment the lines came out. Now they are -550/-500!
So I either break even or come out way ahead. Looks like around a -170 payout for a veritable certainty. I also think your parlay looks great and the only thing holding me back from betting all the same people is Murray. But this is the day that matters most to me in the whole tournament, covering this parlay and by both winning ensuring profit from my futures plan. (too bad I also bet on Nadal and they won't refund me!) Good luck bud, obviously. Definitely hope you at least get this half of your plan... I am worried right about now. Along the lines of what those people who take loads of acid say, "I might have bet too much."
