Possibly the worst money management of all time but hey who cares. I think this parlay hits. I agree with Ticon and I think all the favourites will hit. I need a break from betting anyways so this could be a good way. Feel free to bash away, I love the haters the most.

why didn't you take the break without betting and leaving your money there until premier league starts?or you could've bet for 6875 and leave 10k there no?
of course there is a very good chance to hit but i'm skeptical of murray, well even haas is playing very hungry nowadays, best of luck,i hope you will cash.

gl

I think the williamses are money. Venus lost to Safina on Clay earlier but as 5 titles, and her tourney so far, says Venus is the queen of grass and even if Safina hadn't been struggling so far in Wimby I'd still think Venus would smoke her (get the metaphors...) Serena handles the russians really well normally and I think she'll handle Dement even though Elena has the all important hotness edge on Serena... and I think Serena gets to the finals and loses to big sis. Serena can have all the rest but Wimbly is Venus's baby.
Fed? Cmon. That's like saying you're betting on Christmas being on the 25th of December this year. I would be shocked, SHOCKED, if he didn't win this tourney with all the hoopla surrounding him being the greatest ever if he wins.
But Muray is the one I worry about too. It's not that Roddick looks unbeatable, though 40 some aces is very good, it's the Murray looks beatable. Even winning in straight sets today he didn't look dominating.
GL I think you're good on 3 and maybe all. Best wishes.

Thanks alot guys! I just feel betting is consuming a large part of my life at the moment and I love doing it as a hobby but everyone here knows that it takes time and effort to get anywhere. I need time out, maybe even just to recharge the batteries before the Premier League starts. I wouldn't like to discuss my personal life too much but I will say I do have more then enough to reload for the next Premier League season as when my mother past away she left me a large stake in a family company, in her will. I sold my part to my brother and effectively I could live off it for quite some time. I'm not a total bum though and I do infact work and have a full-time job, other-wise I think I would go crazy! Anyways enough of my personal life!
Put it this way if it hits I'll be really happy but if it doesn't oh well it just wasn't ment to be. I will still be on this forum regardless, giving my tips to fellow cappers mainly in the soccer section.
I agree with alot of what you said mightiestmojo I think the only worrier is Murray but it is the semi-finals and they will be close matches. The Williams sisters impressed me ALOT in the QF's. Venus looks unstoppable and Serena is playing some very good tennis. Safina is playing well in patches and this will not be enough against Venus. Dementieva faces her first real test of the tournament after coasting to the semis. Serena is in fine form and will bring her back down to earth. Everyone wants and thinks there is going to be an all Williams final, right?
Fed, well he's a master on the court and as you said I would be very shocked also if he doesn't win this whole tournament. Haas has done very well and it's his first ever Wimbledon semi-final but this is where the road stops. Fed will be too strong for him. I don't think it's that he impressed me against Djoko but more that I wasn't impressed with Djoko. 3 set points in the 2nd and Djoko chokes, last thing I thought. If he makes them errors against Fed, Fed will make him pay.
Now Murray is the only iffy one but I think he will come through this with the help of the crowd and knowing that he stands a good chance of winning this comp especially since Nadal pulled out. It will spur him on and I don't rate Roddick too highly. He didn't look great for some parts of the match against Hewitt and made some bad errors but I think it's the end of the road for Roddick and Murray wins in 3 or 4.
Anyways good luck to you all and thanks for the kind words! I appreciate it guys!

Wow man you are nuts, but you do have some b@lls. I think im gonna do Federer and the 2 Williams'. Im going to vegas in early august and need some cash so might put $1100 on it(started with $400 last wednesday and now up to $1000 not included the $300 parlay i have with Murray today-check, Federer today-check, Williams and Williams) so therefore I will have about $2300 if i do this)

i meant to say im up to over $1100 now from $400 last wednesday. my $300 is active and i will win $225 if both williams' win. so $525+$1100. However, i may do the $1100 and do both williams' and federer.

First off let me say you are a complete dolt for even.. .... lol. Just kidding! I figured you like the haterz... : )
Anyway, if you are doing this for real, why not just put in 50%, regardless of everything else going on or any other plans/contingencies/money sources . You win or lose this and you can still have some fun on the last Sunday at the W. No?
Either way, best of luck on the play. I sincerely hope you hit it.

A bit off subject but you mentioned soccer. Do you have much success in that sport? I must admit the "draw" possibility scares me. I'm from the states and bet football, our version :), and basketball and usually do mls at small juice. I like that because it's win or lose, 2 possibilities. The draw in soccer freaks me out and I have lost on it regularly when I venture in that arena but it's the biggest sport in the world so I am sure degenerates abound for it. Any recommendations on who is worth tailing? Any better forums? Thanks. I'm just curious.

mightiestmojo - yes I do have do have success in soccer. Mainly during August-May (Main leagues of Europes seasons). I've made quite a bit in the last season in the EPL (probably my strongest league). The draw can bite you in the ass sometimes but in them situations you can take a Draw No Bet (where your bet is void if it's a draw) or you can place a X and Draw where X is the team you are backing. So you basically are backing two results to happen. If either hits you win. Lower odds but more often then not it pays off. There is value to be had in soccer though, if you look hard enough. By tailing do you mean teams or cappers? If you are talking about teams Barcelona, Man Utd., Chelsea, Liverpool and sometimes Real Madrid win over 75% of their matches in a good season. It's all about picking spots to bet on them and value on them. If you are talking about cappers well there are some very good cappers in the soccer forum here on covers. p_66 is a proven capper and is right up there. bevoaustin is also very good and is always hitting above a .500 average. Other very good cappers on there are billyloco, lutz, toto14, bracks, silky, newrebelintown (very good at unders) and bakemcbride. All the guys over in that forum help each other out and it's a good place to build up your knowledge of the sport if you are a novice. Any better forums? Hmm, well there are a few I like to visit to get insights off certain people but the most notable ones are: punterslounge.com, thedailypunt.com and online-betting-guide.co.uk. I better not get pulled on posting up websites by some linesman because I'm not advertising shit if you're reading this, ok? Just trying to help out.
Ticon - Don't be nervous mate, if you feel it's going to be too nerve recking, bring the stake down a little. Give yourself room to breath. I'm used to getting nervous as I've placed 2 bets previous to this one that have been larger, winning both times. It's all about just staying calm and focused.

I'm an all in type of guy! And the finals don't seem to appealing as I feel this is the last chance to make money on this tourney. Venus and Fed should win in their respective comps but who knows with Murray and Serena will want to beat her sister. See how I've already predicted that I'm going to win the bet! Touch wood! I'll be in this thread every step of the way and I'll probably not be able to watch for most parts of the matches, especially if I get as far as the mens semis!

Federer and Murray will win but I think Safina or Dementieva comes with an upset.
I respect your opinion. How do you think they will cause an upset? Just gut? I just feel the Williams sister have too much and are playing well but upsets is what this sport is all about! Would love to hear your opinion mate!

God damn I knew if I named cappers I would leave some out. To add to that list: elsewhere, he has done phenomenal work building up his bankroll. someguy, pickasaraus, and probably a few others I just can't think!

Pretty much a feeling. However, Venus faces the #1 and Serena faces the #4 ranked player. Although rankings don't mean much, especially on grass, considering Serena and Venus are the premier players on the surface, Safina and Dementieva are a step up from the competition both have had to face.
Dementieva has won 3 of the last 4 meetings vs Serena (excluding the walkover win). One win was from '07 in a final on carpet. One was in the quarters of the Olympics last year, and the other was a 6:3 6:1 victory in the Sydney hardcourt warmup tournament. My odds for Serena were -300, so I have to take the +450 I have been offered. I believe Serena will win of course, but the odds are tremendous. This applies to Dinara as well.
Maybe I am underestimating the Williams' sisters a bit. Either way, before the tournament started I thought they were the best value outright +300 and +375. Now, however, they are immensely overpriced.

Very valid points but it always seems like the Williams sisters step it up in grand slams and play amazing. I gotta roll with the sisters.

safina is a choke artist, cant serve, mental case like her brother, etc... numer 1 or not I fully expect her to get the shit beat out of her by venus, so with that my play tommorow will be a unit on Safina Cant turn down +400 on the number one seed, she has to of done something right to get there. BOL on your play mine is a sprinkle that could not pass up on, yours is a pretty solid play like them all. Only possible upset would be Safina and that is real real remote, the others are solid!
