Korneeva 

There's your next big thing on the women's side. Grew up best friends with Andreeva, was considered one of the top juniors alongside her and I think even beat her in a slam final. But while Mirra's career blossomed Korneeva's career was set back by injuries for a while.

 Well Bencic is definitely the best player she has faced so far. I was able to get some +4.5 down early at a good price but I am not sure if that can be found anymore. I am on the moneyline as well for a pretty significant amount but I have been and will continue to be on her moneyline as an underdog for the rest of the NA swing.

I do feel like she has a good chance of winning but I don't feel as comfortable recommending her today as I have the last two matches. If you rode her the last two matches and are going to continue to like me then by all means fire away. If this will be your first time backing her maybe think about going a bit lighter today. 

I will ride her every match, I've done it for three years straight now. She will definitely lose eventually but I've come out way ahead doing this since 2024. Last summer alone she had wins as dog at +170, +180, +190, +120, +400 and then a few more as a short favorite. And so far this year she's notched +170 & +116. And she was a quarterfinalist on her only previous appearance her in 2024.

Does the the Mertens h2h scare you at against osaka?

 No, it's fairly balanced with Osaka having a slight advantage. And two of Mertens three wins came in Naomi's first year back from pregnancy when she wasn't quite back at her level. 

Mertens would struggle with any top 30 player if she plays like she did in the first round. And other than her Wimbledon run she has been in extremely mediocre form. She does put together really solid performances out of nowhere from time to time though so it is possible. Osaka is defending runner-up points this week as well.

Surprise surprise, both of these are in a prolonged delay yet again. But at least both are currently in very favorable positions now. Both are up a set and Brantmeier is only a couple games from the finish line. Would love to see them completed though as we might get a chance to double dip into some quarterfinal matches if there is enough time available with good weather.
