I'm gonna run the ol bringit special in this next quarterfinal. Rybakina 2-0 & Boulter +6.5 (+162) With Maria behind her I think Rybakina will be thrilled to face a traditional opponent again. She shouldn't have much trouble putting Boulter away so I don't expect Katie to take a set but I do think she will be able to hold serve 6 times to cover this spread. This is a smaller play, an on the fly decision without having time to put in as much work as I usually would so treat it accordingly. Definitely not on same level as say the Emma or Vekic plays.
Katie can stop playing now…!! Didn’t see this. We’re gonna need all three sets for this to cash…let’s go Elena !!!

@Jhizzle13 Nah the 2-0 lost... unless u took her ml
My bad. No, I took Rybakina -4.5. Was really hesitant on it…didn’t see Boulter playing like this and didn’t expect Rybakina to only convert 2 of 14 breakpoints! That’s typical, my luck is terrible. Women’s tennis is so f’n unpredictable. WTA #2 lol

I wasn't able to watch but I certainly didn't see that coming.
I think now we will probably be headed for an all Brit Emma Katie final. A rematch of the Nottingham semifinalists from a couple years ago. And yes I like Emma to beat the Rak and then beat Iva tomorrow. Should be able to get a tasty price there too.

Vekic Boulter should be another over match. I was high on both players coming in and they have both delivered. It will be interesting to see how Katie handles herself today. She was not supposed to win yesterday but today she will be coming in with expectations. Big time potential for a let down spot but that doesn't mean there will be one. Either way I think these two will go toe to toe and rack up a bunch of games.
Raducanu should be able to take care of the Rak but I'm not sure if I want to mess with some giant game spread there. Emma will probably cover it but Rak is a fighter and will definitely force Emma to earn every single point. Emma has been great on return this week so I think she'll be able to feast there. Rak faced 7 break points against Dart today and was only able to save one of them, which is an alarming statistic to me. Many of Emma's backhand returns on this quick grass are simply unplayable.
What I'm really waiting for is Raducanu Jovic. This should be must see TV and I am really hoping that the price is right on Emma because I think she'll prevail. Nothing against Jovic though as I've thought she's looked great this week and she's a natural on grass herself. She was either a finalist or semifinalist at Wimbledon a couple years ago and then last year the first time she entered an adult grass challenger tournament she won the whole dang thing.
And you heard it here first, you better look out for Iva Jovic when the Wimbledon draw comes out. I could see her doing some serious damage this year at a tournament that seems to consistently give us an unpredictable winner.
But what I also know is that Emma is really dialed in right now and when Emma is dialed in I back her. About once a year she will show up somewhere looking like a grand slam champion and maybe even start to convince you that some kind of corner has been turned or something. It will inevitably all begin to unravel in a few days/weeks/months but until then you should enjoy the ride.
