I think anyone who has watched this tournament would agree that these 4 ladies absolutely deserve to be the semifinalists. So who advances to the finals? I have some initial thoughts but we have all morning to discuss so I'm curious to see if anyone has any thoughts or information to share.

What an unbelievable fight from Leylah. She  was at risk of going a double break down in the 3rd game but saved the break point then in the 5th game is down 0-40 but wins 5 straight points to hold. Unreal.

Maybe we'll end up with a 2021 US Open rematch in the final.

 Some bettors may be hesitant with Raducanu because she retired during her doubles match with Rybakina last night but I'm about 99% sure it was nothing and likely pre-planned since both of them are in the semis and rarely play doubles. They actually made a surprisingly good team but I bet Townsend 2-0 for that exact reason. I knew neither of them would want to keep playing doubles here so Emma took one for the team. There was no injury or even a real assessment by the trainer, it just looked like she said something to them like she was too exhausted or something.

That was an unbelievable match. Just unreal.
