I feel like Anisimova should roll over Putinseva. Zhang broke her 5 times yesterday. She's been broken 5 times in each of her last 3 matches. The best player she faced during that stretch was Siniakova, who was the only opponent able to consistently hold their own serve. Siniakova won 6-2 6-2. I can't see her doing too much better against Anisimova.

I'm just trying to offer up a reason for you to back her cause I know you want to lol.
I have the total for Putinseva racket tosses capped at 12.73 and racket smashes at 4.22. Need to find a book that offers these exotics though lol.
For real though, I see this match likely being similar to the Siniakova match or the third set against Townsend after she figured things out. If Putinseva holds serve against Zhang Shuai only 4 of 9 how many holds does she get against that HEAVILY torqued backhand?

This is why they have avoided the electronic line calling on clay. It can expose the inaccuracies of the system (it is not perfect, has to be manually calibrated, etc.). Putinseva hits a serve that wasn't called out, Anisimova sees the ball mark is out, the umpire agrees that she sees the mark too but they have to go by the system calls.
