Serving for 1st set at 5-3, fails to convert 4 set points, and loses 4 straight games. Then wins next two sets 6-0 6-1. Typical.

After this and the Emma ordeal I might take a little break although there's a German gal I love tonight.

Going to sprinkle a bit on that and also play Lys straight up and parlay Anisimova ML and Paolini ML 

I like Kessler tonight. Took her ml and if she drops the first set..will take her to win set 2...dont see lys winning in straight

 Very nice. She had that little dip at the end of the first but then stayed pretty locked in the rest of the way. I think these courts favor players who can move as well as she does.

 It is certainly possible but I might be more inclined to play a game spread or over. Still have more thinking to do on that.

Lys is playing the best tennis of her life and I've been very impressed, especially on return, but playing against Gauff is a different animal with how incredibly well she moves. That being said, Lys has won largely by putting immense pressure on her opponent's second serve and we know how Gauff's game can unravel with DFs and errors when she is pressured like that.

Rybakina currently holds the last position in the race to the WTA finals but Paolini is right on her heels and could overtake her with another win or two here. 

Bouzkova is no pushover but Paolini will be highly motivated and she typically brings her A game when it really matters, much like she did a couple weeks ago in the BJK final against Pegula.

I think Anisimova will get over the line here but if she doesn't I'll probably press a bit and play a Paolini game spread.
