I think Seidel can do some damage
I don't.
Spread winner but hate to see her out of the tournament as she has been such a cash cow these past couple of weeks.

Eva Lys played so good against Rybakina last night. You rarely win a match winning only 28% of second serves but in the two sets she won she hit 75%+ first serves in and won 50% of return points against statistically the best server in the world.

Yeah, first set looked like a couple of top ten players going at it. If I wasn't already on Zhang I would've live bet something like Amanda 2nd set and under 8.5 games. It just seems like in WTA when there is a really hard fought tiebreak the loser is highly prone to falling apart afterwards.

bringit.................. Emma had 3 match points in that 2nd set TB and the third match point she had Pegula out of position running wide to her backhand side and Pegula comes up with an unbelievable shot down the line. When Emma hit that shot, she was about 99% sure that she had hit a winner and was winning the match.
When Pegula hit that shot (really quite lucky) in the TB and brought the score back to deuce and then stole that 2nd set....................I knew right then that Raducanu was toast, and she was................all the fight in her was gone.

Yep. I didn't watch it live but I watched a replay of the three match points. She played the two on Pegula's serve almost perfectly but Pegs pulled a rabbit out of the hat both times. The first one probably wins the point against most players 80%+ of the time. And the other was ridiculously good/lucky from Pegula. Then the one on her serve she was just way too passive and the collapse had pretty much already started at that point. Seemed like it was tougher for her to swallow not converting match points that she played so well.
Couldn't even make it to deuce on her serve in the third set. She needs a psychologist asap.
