Betting on this shyt raises your blood pressure up like no other.
How many times am I going to see some broad I bet on go up 5-1, just to end up losing 5-7?
Jesus.......

I have no clue what you guys are talking about - you describe the perfect conditions for trading and then you whine? The best thing when choosing a sport to bet on is that “unsuspected” things happen - then just learn to read it better than the market and then you are golden - always suspect the unsuspected basically (esp. Live markets are wild and even though it seems unpredictable you pretty quickly notice patterns - if you follow tennis a lot)

Oh my God. Don't even get me started on that. Like how is that even possible? I'll tune into a match and see them end destroying their opponent 6-1 in the first set, then place a live bet and all of a sudden the broad can't serve or return to save her life. I mean what the hell happened in those few minutes when you sat down between sets?

Exactly. Yes, it sucks when it's your player who blows the lead but if you can't stomach that then you definitely need to stay away from the women because it absolutely is going to happen time and time again. The first thing to know about women's tennis is that it's women's tennis. It is almost a completely different sport than the men who are bigger, stronger, and can back up their serve infinitely better for those exact reasons. There are quality women's players who consistently struggle to back up their serve but they win matches by being good on return. You won't find good men's players that can't back up their serve. The variance in the women's game is what creates opportunities.

That's actually a good question and something else I've noticed.

Nerves, but at the highest level, you would think that they would have all of that sorted out. You would expect that kind of stuff from lower level tennis, but not at the highest level.

Brother...these guys are human beings. They aren't programmed to win, hence this is where gambling was put into play. If it was a perfect science, we'd all be cashin'!
Secondly...there is a reason Women play best 2/3 all the time, regardless of Grand Slams or regular tournaments...
And...I particularly like this from Calde13

But now, all of a sudden, you two partners in crime are talking about the ATP. As pointed out, those are so different that it would be a stretch to treat them as the same sport, at least from a gambling perspective!
Tennis is an "unfair" game by design. It isn't THAT unusual for the player who wins the most points to end up the loser. Name another sport where that would be the case. Points are only important if they win you games, and games are only important if they win you sets, and sets are only important if they win you the match. As you can see, it becomes complex to explain to an outsider. In ATP, they have a strong serve, so they're more likely to win key points. Most players on both tours have a hidden level that they access when facing key points! John Isner, in his prime, often had odds of -190 for that serve game - when serving down 0-40 because he almost always won his serves. Then, you just had to see him make six aces in a row rather than four before collecting your money! But again, you clearly noticed that this is tennis and how it works ! Why don't you embrace that fact and learn to trade it? The sport and its athletes weren't waiting for you to notice before changing their ways and they don’t do it to bugger you - this is how it has worked for centuries- probably also before you were born

See what I mean? A player that you literally double bageled two months ago all of a sudden has a great chance of beating you.
Women's tennis is literally the most unpredictable thing to bet on.
Jesus.....

If you bet favorites in Women's tennis, especially heavy chalk favorites like Iga is against Amanda your gonna get killed
I learned that the hard way

Unless of course we're talking about prime serena, but I doubt we'll see another one of those anytime soon.
