A while back I was listening to an interview with Tom Brady. Have to go back and find it now, that is going to drive me crazy not being able to refer back to it. Anyways he said something that should stick with all of us. When the question was keys to success? He candidly responded you have to hit your layups. We did just that this morning. Love you, Tom. You guys should be on cloud 9, I sure am.

Luckily I didn't bet pre-game, and once Keys immediately broke Petra first game, I knew it's gonna be short.
Do you like Ruse+3.5? Muchova tends to have her ups and downs and Ruse seems highly motivated in the last 2 weeks.

It was short right to the bakery. Marcinko is a cutie pie unfortunately we were not going to get much face time with her today. Make sure Keys is one of your girls in your hopper next week.
Regarding the Ruse match, will defer to Lord B on this one. He has that match covered. ![]()

Haven't been around much, still recovering and missed most of these matches but I'd stay away from Draper today. The Wimbledon draws just came out and it's a huge talking point he is playing Fritz round 1. His head may not be in the game for today and he may not want to stress himself too much.

Took your advice on the American that was a no sweat. I parlayed draper and foking and I got 3 live bets about to hit after zizou lost set 1.
Terrific start to the day time to research some diamond insights.

With the retirement it's probably a good time for this reminder. Most books will void a 2-0 bet in this situation when they win 1-0. On draftkings and FanDuel you can avoid this by doing an SGP with set 1 + set 2 and you would've been paid out for set 1 with set 2 voided. On FanDuel you can add the moneyline to the parlay as well so your paid for set 1 + ML
Sometimes the odds drop by a few cents doing it this way instead of just selecting 2-0 so you have to evaluate that to make sure you aren't losing more value than that little bit of insurance is worth.
Also a good reminder imo that you don't always need to panic when the market steams against you. When this happens of course it's a good idea to research a little more and make sure there's not some red flags you're missing, e.g. injuries. But absent some kind of significant news I do not ever allow market sentiment to change my own mind on an outcome. If I did so I would've almost certainly missed out on more possible winnings than money I would've saved from being scared away from my positions.
I know that Walter feels the same way about this too. Honestly I would've thought that he got in at a good number by taking it early so I was very surprised by the movement. But I swear, whenever there is big movement on a pick like this where we try and try to figure out why the market would possibly want to move in the other direction it seems like we end up being on the right side at a much higher rate than our average pick on a steady line. You wouldn't think that would be the case but it has for us, at least in tennis , and I think Walter would probably agree. Just my observation.
This is partially why you don't see me betting the opening odds on these matches every day. Whenever I get really excited about a matchup and bet it early trying to get the "best number" it seems to always move against me and I can never understand why. And more often than not I'm still on the right side.
Go on Twitter or another forum and read other people's picks and their ignorant rationale behind them. Then you'll understand why maybe the markets are not always super efficient.
This is also likely a difference between selecting a side based upon a computer projection or power ranking (the broader market) versus taking a side based on feeling and matchup (us).

Now that the match is over, will give my two cents. Did not want to throw shade. This play of his please do not take offense to this was action/ degenerate special. Why in the world would you put yourself in that position? Patience, we have all day. ![]()

The way you have to look at it is we have done our damage in tennis today now let's see if we can find that one Diamond that we can slap down the fairway.
*And yes, soccer continues to be a distraction keep reading LA's posts, it's like a dangling carrot.

At -120 not gonna lie we ALL should have made a move. Now, we sit tight do our work along with watching the market. Lord B will be by later to give us highlights to help us with our decisions.

Eastbourne Final Keys vs Maria
Pass for me, chasing that value with Maria is understandable however Keys has been hitting a real clean ball all week and is another to put in your hopper for next week. Lord B will also come by with his cliff notes regarding match later.
