7) If game is a loser, and that game also goes into OT/SO, continue playing old series as normal, but start a NEW series with that team as well. For instance, if chasing Atlanta for UNDER 5.5 in game 2 of a chase and Atlanta beats Dallas in OT 4-3, the game is a loser. Play Atlanta for the 3rd game of a chase and, in addition, play Atlanta and Dallas as 1st games of a new chase.
**What if game 2 is a WINNER but goes to OT or ends in a SO? Would you still play the original [C] AND start a new series as well? Please explain.
Prime example - On Wednesday San Jose ended in a SO with Columbus. So I played the under in the San Jose game last night (winner) but also ended in a SO. How should I proceed?
Thanks in advance!

I've got a question about this:

CYA... gotta get on the plane...Vegas here I come!!!!!!

Hey guys, taking over for the gasman while he cleans up in Vegas...
System "C" plays only....
Last night we went 1-0, winning the DAL/Van under 5.5. We lost the TOR/Car over bet at 6.0 (Seems like they were on pace after 2 periods, then decided to play defense).
The season record is now 46-3 +25.0 units.
Gasman's record since tracking Oct 26 is 14-0 +14.0 units.
(have to make sure I put the dancing guy in here)
The Toronto chase goes to the [B] game.
Five plays tonight, however four games... Detroit and Toronto are playing each other. Toronto we are on the [B] game, Detroit is on the [A] game. Since we are playing totals, both teams will have the same total, therefore the chases are combined. So we will bet 3 units on the Toronto/Detroit game for tonight (two for Toronto's total chase, one for Detroit's).... Six units up for grabs tonight, let's get 'em all!!!
Sat Nov 7...TOR/det...[B] = over 6.0
...BOS/buf...[A] = under 5.5
...DET/tor...[A] = over 6.0
....OTT/nj...[A] = under 5.5
...STL/phi...[A] = under 5.5
Sun Nov 8...COL/edm...[A]
[A]....1 unit play
[B]...2 unit play
[C]...4 unit play
Good luck to all!!! ![]()

Bamboo,
The home team totals chase can be a little misleading, so let me explain how it works... When a game goes into overtime, whoever is the home team playing that game will be the chase team for a three game series starting with their following game. Overtime games can end in a tie, which then makes the game a shootout. Bottom line is all shootouts are overtime, so the home team playing a game that is tied after three periods becomes a chase team (remember we are chasing the totals)....
If two teams like Detroit and Toronto tonight play each other, it is because Detroit was a home when they played their OT/SO game and are chasing them. So we have "nested" series here. If this game wins, this counts as two series wins. If it loses, then Detroit's next game is [B] and Toronto's next game is [C].
Think of it as two roads crossing at an intersection. Each team driving on its own road and then meeting up at that intersection, then going their seperate ways afterward.
Prime example - On Wednesday San Jose ended in a SO with Columbus. So I played the under in the San Jose game last night (winner) but also ended in a SO. How should I proceed?
Gasman is correct, if you played SJ on 11/4 as a [C] bet (for some strange reason they should not have been a play), but if you did, and it won, then that chase is over. Since San Jose was on the road, Columbus actually starts the chase. Incidentally, Columbus did go over the total in their [A] game on 11/5.

So much for trying to cut and paste two quotes on the same post.....

what site did you guys use for backtracking last years results.I ask because i backtracked this system using covers information for last year and got more than 8 losses if chasing 3 games(this is for system 3-the home chase). In fact i got 15 losses so far only testing 20 teams.help appreciated.thanks much.
i think that record is not for the full season

Kangy, thanks for stepping in for gasman. this question will probably sound like an amatuer, but do we play no matter the line (for instance 5dimes has bos/buff u5.5 at -150. thanks and keep up the great work.
I increased my bet size a little and took U-6 bos/buff lowered the risk a little. I think the answer to your question is yes

Moscow, read post #70. Thanks! The info was tracked at Covers. The homework has already been done. But if you want to re-invent, please do.

This leaves a system "C" American teams series record last season of 195-17 for an even higher profit. I am thinking I want to track this going forward. I did notice the system start to taper off toward the second half of the season (after December 28, 2008) somewhat. I will do some deeper investigation and see if there is something I can find. For now, keep playing this one as is!
