I'm wagering $25 per unit. Last night I was laying $54 to win $25 on LA and lost. So what should my wager be for (B) with LA? What ever the line is to win $25 plus the $54?

If you want to win 1 unit per 3 game chase then what you described is correct. You'd bet to win your loss from the first game plus whatever you want to win on the chase.

What you are describing is Martingale betting method where you take what you lost and add it to what you wanted to win originally.
Some people use a Labby line. Which will win you less money if you hit on game 2 or 3, but you will also loose more money if you loose a series. With a labby line you basically add half of what you wanted to win to what you lost. You set it up using lines with multiple numbers. Look it up on this forum, or google it for more explanations.

For this system I use a modified labby line, if I loose a G1, I split the loss between the next G1 and the G2 for the series. If I loose G2 I move it the the next G2 and the G3 for the series.
I don't move regular chase to double dip, but I do move double dip to regular chase.

Just to give you an example of how I play my double dip losses, on Saturday MON lost double dip game 1, LA played regular game 1. I applied half of the labby line from the Montreal loss to the LA game which won. The other half of MON game 1 loss will be added to MON game 2.

I did strict Martingale for baseball this year. But I learned a lesson that every system will eventually loose a series.
Because of that, I only use a labby lines now as it will win you less money, but will also loose less.

Do injuries play a role at all? Montreal now has a significant amount of injuries.

Nope. Injuries will make the books adjust the lines.

Would Columbus be a play tonight?  Including tonight's game against the Devils they have 3 in a row and I see them at -130

No, Columbus is on a 4 game homestand and did not qualify for the FIRST game of the homestand on Sunday against Pitt. That wipes out the rest of the homestand for this system. They must qualify for the first game.

MONTREAL lost the "C" double dip game on 10/22 - correct?  So now the double dip theory has 1 loss, or are you continuing the chase?

Montreal won on the regular chase on 10/17, then started the double dip and has lost only 2 games, 10/19, 10/22. The go to double dip C game on 10/24.

Is Montreal still a play at less than -130 ?

Yes. The -130 filter is only for game 1. I wouldn't blame you for skipping this tough matchup for Montreal. I'm playing a labby line for A, B and C games so this is a normal 1 unit bet for me on the C game.
