this is my question exactly. The COL shutout started me on the first bet with real money (fortunately not mine, but my boss's money) which lost, and now poses a dilemma to chase. I didn't come across this at all in my spot checks through games back to 2006 (didn't have time to check it through too deep).
Anyone have any ideas?

as far as ur question jas-panama, just go with what the system tells u to play. col was +1.5 and sd was -140 or so. bet bot and if sd had won by 1 pt., u would have won BOTH bets. col won outright but sd came back next night and won. so there you go. Col won their B game and SD ended up the next nite winning their B game.

Anyone back test this system on the opposite spectrum? Chase the loser of the shutout by betting they will lose one of their next 4 games?
Yea I have...I been using this system since last year...There are a lil more losses if u take the team that gets shutout....Im taking the plus money for Cleveland tmr

I back tested the system (play against team that was shutout) and was only one loss so far this season using the underdog RL/FAV. Washington only team that won 4 straight and beat the RL consecutivel after they were shutout. I think Im going to start a thread for this system. Seems very productive if used in conjunction w/the regular james jones system. I used exact same method Jones used, a 4 game chase. I think going after 1 unit would be good because I did see a quite few series go 4 games. Look for new thread shortly.

well system lost today. no problem. Im going to play the james jones & play against team tbat was shut out using jones rules. backtested it this year and only one loss so far.

Okay. Somethings wrong with the system. Are you sure it's not a 6 game chase using some sort of a Labourchere? Does anyone actually have the Jones Shutout method or is this all speculation. I went to buy it, but the web page says 'sold out'.
