Sir Andrew - the system is a chase system where you take the highest ML odds of the day and take that team but use the RL(-1.5). The team with the highest ml odds usually change day to day, so today's play is Cubs -1.5 and it is the third game of the chase as the previous two plays have lost. Hope this helps clear this up for you.

Correct. Last two losing plays were NYM, then AZ. The Cubs are the play today, and are game 3 of the current chase.

Thought the Cubs were let off the hook when the skies opened up.. Then I realized my book doesn't pay RL's unless 8.5 innings are complete.. BLAH the bleeding continues..

This should really be Game 3 again, since last night's game was considered a push. The Books don't pay a RL victory unless 8.5 innings are completed. Money was refunded, but no money was recovered from the Game 1 and Game 2 loss the previous 2 nights. I will be treating this as a Game 3 in the system again.

whats the most games you've had to chase to get to victory? only reason i ask is that of course the record will be perfect because eventually you will win but if you have to chase it a crapload games it might get a bit risky...i like the idea of this system though and will hop on tomorrow

My book opened late last night with Toronto and Chicago both @ -240. I was shocked by the Cubs line. After the public got a hold of the lines they were quite different after only an hour of opening, as the Jays quickly became an even bigger fav. I was happy to get the RL @ -115.
In this case where the ML's opened equal, I felt it was really a no-brainer on which team to back. Halladay is the best pitcher in the League, imo, while Harden is on my spots fade list.
This completes a very nice 3-0 weekend and 4 in a row back to Thursday. Excellent job on this system prof8t.

I think he had to chase it to 6 once early in the season, but that is the only time it has got close to that far. Correct me if I'm wrong please. The system is a 'Chase to 6 Games' only, so it can't go any longer than this. The time it did go to 6, it won.
I have been following this system and documenting my own record since May 1st. Since then, it has gone 10-0 with an individual games record of 10-6-1. The longest chase was the middle of last week when it went to 3 games (4 nights when u include the push last Wednesday). It has gone to Game 2 four times, and won Game 1 now five times. So..
Game 1 - 5-5 Game 2 - 4-1 Game 3 - 1-0-1
This is since May 1st, I'm sure prof8t can give the full stats back to April if u needed.
One thing I have learned from this system is u have to believe in it, and be willing to back whatever play the system comes up with. If u decide to lay off a day, or say u don't like the pick and go with another pick u like, it can become quite easy to get urself all mixed up and suddenly chasing a 5th or 6th game.
BOL, and thanks again prof8t for sharing this system.
