    wow.
this system is like the rest. GARBAGE !
i have been on other systems before where it wins more than lose for a few months, then starts losing most of its profits. This system is ahead now, but as the profits and bankrolls grow, so will the loses. When the wagers reach 100$ or more, all it will take is 2 out of 7 losing days to nullify the profits. Why and how? because when the system wins, its usually a minimum amount won, but when its a losing day, its usually a major loss. in 7 days, just because you are ahead, does not mean you made back profits lost last week and so on. This system is dig a hole and start digging yourselves out one. if we go 3-3 for 5 days, then have 1 or 2 nights where we are 1-5 or 2-4, the profits plus more is gone. Since last night and today, we lost our profits plus more. We then have two good days and people think we are back on track. sigh*
Its profitable now, yes. But much of the profits came from MLB and NHL combined. All the degenerates like action so, waiting until MLB starts is out the question right? Just stick with what got us the profits and wait for MLB. As for me, i will follow your NHL and pass on NBA, wait for MLB and we will see. However, adding a third weapon and input sports that are new to the system is an experimental downfall. I foresee our 2000$ dollar or so profit dwindling before the MLB season starts. Just my 2 cents. i will only follow the NHL for now. Are you sure you don't just pick underdogs randomly depending on back to back nights? i followed another system very VERY similar to this one and was doing well for a few months then ALL GONE.
    Good luck in any event.!

BTW, when we do get to the point of betting $100 a game, the bank roll will be at $4000 or more, so that is enough to sustain cold nights.

Obviously no grasp of mathematics here. Ever heard of standard deviation? He's already months ahead of schedule. Ever seen a roulette board go 13-20 blacks or red in a row? I have. And it's approximately a 48% bet. The same applies here. Kindly leave.

i have been on other systems before where it wins more than lose for a few months, then starts losing most of its profits.
Please remember that the average IQ in the world is 100. That means roughly 50% of people in the world have an IQ less than 100. These types of people have an inability to detach themselves from their own emotions on top of being simple-minded. Lack of objectivity and foresight, and an abundance of hindsight bias, also mars the thought processes of these simpletons. Ignore them.

Well said. George Carlin said consider how dumb the average person is. Scary because half of the population is dumber than than that.

Dude...wake up...how much of the bankroll did we lose the last 3 nights?

    2% Sunday

    13% Monday

    6% Tuesday

Makes you wonder just a bit..........21%

    yes, this exactly...

im not here to hear you all protect the thread and try to figure out what positives you can take out of this system, nor your barking mouths..i was a follower, but i know where this is going so i wont be checking in. i am aware of the bankrolls and profit percentages and also aware that the system is ahead of schedule. if your IQ is so great, then you would know there is no way to win consistently.if there was, most people would be rich... i could care less of your feedback so replying to me will be a waste. sorry for the clutter..i wont be on this thread again.. dont worry..i want to see you all when this loses its profits...just stop gambling guys haha...

But the point is, that put as the next level ($45/bet) and when you have 3 days like we did, we just lost 20% of the bank. Shit like that is going to happen no matter how you pick games. But at each new level you have to think like you are starting with a "New Bankroll" when we keep increasing the bets.

i wish we could win every day as well but its not going to happen.. if you dont want to follow the project, just bet 1%-2% on each play and adjust each day, simple as that...

what im doing here is a small project, i took about 10% of my overall bankroll and allocated it to this project.... i play 1%-2% on each play out of my overall bankroll...

i cannot control the picks, they are from a computer program for moneyline dogs that i created...

here is the update and plays for wednesday nov 24

    Beginning balance on sept 5 2010: $1000

    Current balance on nov 24 2010: $1895

    Computer Program Plays: 178-191 (+$895)

    plays for wednesday nov 24

    370. dallas mavs (+1.60) $45 to win $72

    371. clev cavs (+1.00) $45 to win $45

    372. LA kings (+1.10) $45 to win $50

    373. NY Rangers (+1.20) $45 to win $54

    374. Minn Wild (+1.10) $45 to win $50

    375. Stl Blues (+1.00) $45 to win $45

    376. Chicago BHawks (+1.20) $45 to win $54

that is all for this thread today, play nice while im away...

please remember my only real goal for this thread is to make 15% each month, which means i need to be at $1521 on dec 1.... until we drop below that mark, i have nothing to say...

here are the very good records by sport, that we are using.

    mlb: 75-75

    nhl: 64-66

    nba: 24-26

i see nothing wrong with those numbers

    have a good day...

I can't stop LOL'ing at some of the above posts.  Let me dive into this.  I apologize in advance for the "clutter", but someone has to say something to people who have the audacity to sign up a new account just to bash Thinker, and others following this thread.  Here we go.

First and foremost, no one is forcing anyone to follow this thread.  If you believe that this system will fail, don't tail the picks or even read them, for that matter.  What you choose to do with your bankroll is your choice, not mine, not Thinker's, and not any other tailer in this thread.  In short, keep your descending opinions to yourself, and let other positive attitudes suffice.  The descenders are also the people who look at every situation IRL with a negative light, and ultimately, you people are the degenerates, not us.

Secondly, your math skills are irreconcilably horendous. If this system were to ultimately fail, which you are "oh so sure" it will, each and every one of us will lose 10% of our bankroll.  Does that sound abominable to you? To me, if I lose 10% of my bankroll on a chance that a computer system can pick moneyline dogs on a 50% clip, so be it.  I still have 90% of my bankroll alive to bet on other games, and use it for other systems. If you are ignorant enough to not follow the money management that Thinker so elequantly describes in almost every page on this thread, then once again, you are the one with the degenerate gambling problem.  Either follow the rules set forth in this thread BEFORE you start to tail, or don't complain when things are plunging.

It takes a lot to get under my skin, but more than 1 person in this thread has managed to accomplish that.  The first two times, I let it go without addressing it.  But now it's really starting to bother me.  Myself, Thinker, metslider, butta, or anyone else doesn't give a flying rat's ass if there are 20,000 tailers, or 20 tailers.  This is a "brainchild", so to speak, of Thinker.  If it works, fantastic. If it doesn't, no worries.  We move on and try to find another system.

Finally, let's address the numbers as of November 24, 2010:

Starting bankroll:  $1000 (10% of total bankroll)

    Current bankroll: $1895 (+$895)

System goal:  Pick ML dogs at a rate of 48-52% through a computer program designed by Thinker

    Current records:  MLB - 75-75 (50%)

                             NHL -  64-66 (49%)

                             NBA  -  24-26  (48%)

    Overall record:  163-167 (49%)

Does any descender care to comment on the above numbers?  Because as I see it, we are not only ahead of schedule, but we are also exactly where we hoped to be.  Are any of you sure you want to make the hypothetical argument that this system will fail solely based on the past experiences you may or may not have had with other, completely uncomparable systems?  Because if that's the argument you would like to make, please be sure to stick around in this thread so we can make fun of you on our way to the bank in 12 months.  My theory is, however, that you'll abandon your newly signed up forum accounts in favor of your old accounts, and start tailing this thread once MLB season begins again.

There is always room for descending opinions, as long as they are logically written with well throught out points of view.  But ignorant, unintelligent, sarcastic and naive posts are nothing more than adolescent and easily dismissed by the type of post I just made.

Keep them coming Thinker.  Don't let these simpletons affect what you're trying to do here.  You have people like me that will stand up for you when something like this occurs.  Just stay focused and let me/us take care of these clowns.

Thinker, with that said, I do think you will need to re-adjust your base bets if you fall below each $250 level.  Example:

You raised your base bets to $45 once you passed the most recent $250 level.  However, once you fall back below that $250 level, the bets should once again decrease back to the previous level before the increase.

This will prevent you/us from losing too much money on a prolonged losing streak, and keep us on track for the 15% per month goal.

    Make sense?

    Make sense?

Makes sense with most  money mgmt.  methods, but I think I remember Thinker saying in the beginning that once he ups the unit size, he will not reduce it for any reason.  My apologies if that is incorrect.

Thinker - I concur with Smdio.  I believe when a losing streak is encountered taking you below the previous threshold, the bet amount should be reduced......this is the TOUGHEST money management principle as you can grind grind grind at a certain level until you finally breakthrough.  Just my 2 cents worth, just ignore the negative posters, we're all just trying to find the few % advantage each day to keep tracking up the endless mountain.

Thanks for all you WORK and posts.

Actually I like the fact once we  break a threshold we up the bets and not lower it back once we get back to a certain number.  Reason being is we will start winning again and when we do those losses will quickly be recovered faster than if he had lower the number.

The system has already shown it is a winner.  We are well ahead of scheduled.  No need to doubt it now.

I think as far as the money management, if you feel more comfortable lowering your units if we fall below a lower threshold then go for it.  I do that myself actually.  Thinker is more aggressive.  You need to do what feels right for you.  When we get to 5k or 10k or whatever, you may be more comfortable playing 1% instead of 2% per game.  All decisions you need to make on your own.  The thread is a great guide but ultimately you make that call for yourself.  What I stressed on Sunday was not to go the other way and start risking half your bank because we had a huge night saturday or even worse if you missed saturday.  Stick to sound money management and we will be able to see this thing through.

    thanks guys for the suggestions....

here is what i think and its no more important than what you think..

i am not going to lower my bets for the project.... in some ways this is 100k or nothing for me....

but once again what is happening is,,,,,,,,,,,, people are confusing Overall Bankroll with the money being used for this project..

Overall Bankroll: i advise playing 1%-2% on each play (your choice) and adjust daily.... or at certain levels... so yes i advise adjusting down in the Overall Bankroll...

for this thread (this project) i choose to be more agressive and if i lose it all, so be it...  but thats not how i would handle my entire bankroll...

    once again 2 different things...
