notice the slight increase in wagers today.... the base bet is now $40, as thats 2% of project bankroll... the nba has now moved to a $25 base for me, as it will soon join for full amount.
and FYI: i am playing all NHL selections for 2% of overall bankroll and all NBA selections for 1% of overall bankroll... this statement is more for those that are merely wagering the plays and not following the project..

i do line shop,,,, currently i dont have access to pinnacle but im looking for a partner in canada (hint, hint)...
i line shop alot...
but what you do not understand,,,,, i cant run this thread like that.. i cant sit all day and wait to update and post plays in this thread.. i need to get it done....
this if for everyone's benefit, so they can get the plays early and i can be finished posting as well...
many times my actual bets are made within the hour of the game actually starting... i keep my cell phone with me at all times, lines are updated and bets are placed, when i think the appropriate time is..
i cant run the thread like that, sorry.. but please, you dont have to tell me to line shop...

your not kidding with a lot of juice.... not to mention even waiting a little while longer with the dog senerio, more then likely you'll get a minor increase waiting till a half hour before game time, great to establish the play earlier with the computer but increase patience for sending it in for a little more value, considering the goal for the long haul, this could be very dramatic.
BOL with your plays and system

yeah, it used to be an old saying, bet the favorites early and the dogs late... and many times it still holds true..
i dont even want to go into,,,,,,,,,,, knowing how to anticipate the line moves.... this thread isnt about that..
if i waited each day, you guys would never get the plays... i cant say,,,, oh i think philly +1.20 will be the price ill grab, ill wait until 15 minutes before they drop the puck and then play it... i could never post the plays in this fashion..
i merely have to wait until the lines are posted, run the Program and post the plays.... its up to you guys to get the best lines possible....
posting and making bets are 2 completely different things...

Screw totals. We have 3 weapons. Let's not get greedy
Totals bit us in the ass. We're running months ahead of schedule with playing NBA, NHL, and MLB dogs. Nothing says we have to get to $100k by June 2011. At this rate, it may only take 2 years instead of 3. Who knows. But IMHO, there's no reason to tamper any further with the current system and underdogs that we have.
Seems to me it's perfect as it is
HUGE hit on OKC last night btw

butta: ill have to agree with smdio here.. i think we are real close to a finished product... we have 3 weapons, we can run year round..
if i ever do have something else, worthwhile... i will put it in another thread.... it will have nothing to do with the project..

Hi Thinker, I appreciate what you do!
Question...do you just play the ML NBA dogs or do you also play the spread? I've been following you the last few days but wonder if you think it's worth while to lay more units on the dog spreads and put a little on the ML? I know money management is important so instead of saying putting a unit on the ML, I'd put .60 on the spread and like .40 on the ML. Thoughts?

That's been discussed. I think first by Jokehead a few pages ago. Personally, I just play the ML on the dogs. Much bigger return if they hit (and they hit roughly 50% of the time). I thought about the 60/40 thing once Jokehead mentioned it, but to be honest, everyone's money-management is their own. You can play all of these with a Labourchere, if you really wanted to. Or hell, even Martingale.
Thinker gives the plays. What you do with them once you log into your book is up to you. For purposes of getting to the $100k goal, I think he intends to just stick with ML wagers in this thread
Correct me if I'm wrong though Thinker...

Yes smdio, thanks for that. I saw where it had been discussed but also Thinker said he plays more with this book than what is posted here so was just curious if he did both. I do agree there is certainly more profit to just sticking to the ML however, I bet many games in various sports so trying to see the best 'long term' strategy with money management...
