im going to give you the plays that i currently have right now but today im going to have to do some additional plays this afternoon. we have some lines that are close to a pickem and some teams will move to being a play later today... looks like quite a bit of action today but here is what i have so far..

TOP play for thursday oct 21: Capitals (-1.15)

this play is rated very strong by my program, do with that what you will..

regular plays:

SF Giants (+1.05) (lincecum/halladay)

NY Rangers (+1.30)

NJ Devils (+1.00) playing (-1.05) is ok here..

Dallas (+1.05)

ill be back this afternoon, no later than 4:30 pm cst with any additions.. i dont like doing this but today cannot be helped... ill repost all the plays, once i have the final card for today..

I would advise, if your following along to play them all.. even if you have to lay (-1.05).. but of course that is your decision. I dont have all day to sit and wait on lines and then to run and post it... We should all line shop, some will get much better lines than me, others not so much... I like to get this information to you guys and then go on with my day... I will always line shop and so should you. 

the only other selection that could be added today is the penguins tonight, against nashville... if i can get pittsburgh later today as a dog, i will add it...

yeah thats a tough call guys... im personally playing anything (+1.00) or higher... i would play the (-1.05) if i had to....

butta: i understand what your saying but id still play them....

when you are following a mechanical program, you kinda need to play all the games... but of course this is only my opinion..

more times than not its going to be better to wait and bet the dogs later but i dont want to sit around and wait to post the plays...

ill just post them and you guys sort em out, id play them all...

this thread is merely about the project for me (taking 1k out of my bankroll and trying to turn it into 100k in 33 months)....

in reality, i am now making each wager for more than $30.... i am making the TOP plays for alot more than $30.... but i dont care to go into the specifics here... i line shop and often times wait and bet some games later but i can do that with this thread....

for the very long haul, i see a day when ill be playing the ML Underdog program plays for 1% of bankroll and playing the TOP plays for 2.5% of bankroll...

i think that is where im ultimately headed, once all the minor details are sorted out... and im getting there with those...

but for this thread, i want to stay on course... id be glad to answer privately how i feel you should play your personal bankroll... id also tell you which plays are rated higher, if you want to know but i dont want to get into that here....

the rangers, stars and nj are stronger than the wild, kings and giants today.. but i am playing them all equally for now, as i can get them all at plus juice... pitt is actually rated a little higher as well and the capitals are rated very high, thats why they are the TOP play today.. i couldnt ignore them...

Great work you've done, and coninue to do here. I just wanted to mention an option that would make this even more profitable. When you buy-in to 5dimes, instead of accepting a bonus of a percentage of your deposit, you can accept what they call reduced lines. On the average you get another 5 cents on the dollar when playing dogs, or 5 cents less on faves. You can obviously see how this would greatly increase your payouts over this long process.

I have a 5Dimes Account with the Reduced Juice Bonus. For US customers, it definitely beats the majority of other Sportsbooks. A few cents here and there definitely adds up when you're betting over the long haul. If you're in Canada and can use Pinnacle tho, their regular lines are still better than 5Dimes reduced lines.

Always nice to have options.
