Yes, good catch. The system rules state that you start another 3 game chase after a win on the A game of a 4 game series. So we are chasing again to win 1 of the next 3.

This early for the system we already have 2 losses and another C game for Atlanta. Seems like a bad bad year.

 

There has been a much higher percentage of "A" game wins this year.  Out of 43 series, so far, this is only the 5th "C" game. 

Friday results:

Oak wins on the A game

Atlanta loses on B game, goes to C game Saturday.

Boston was rained out but play a doubleheader Saturday. Game 1 is A game, if they lose game 2 is B game.

Record: 41-2

A: 32-12

B: 7-5

C: 2-2 Atlanta pending Saturday

If you bet with an online book that automatically lists the pitchers, you may want to change that to "Action" for the Red Sox game.  Mangers have a tendency to switch pitchers at the last possible moment on DH days.  I've had this happen to me on a number of occasions, and wind up with a canceled bet, instead of a win. 

Good advice, I've had that happen to myself. Not a good feeling when your winning bet is cancelled.

For those of you who waffle between the true Martingale style betting and B2W's strategy of lowering "C" bets, I would HIGHLY recommend using B2W's style tonight in LA. Atlanta's bats have gone cold in California and more importantly the Dodgers have new life with Puig. This kid is unreal, hit another homer last night in a 2-1 win. They are 5 of 6 since he came up.

Just a gut feel but, our other two series losses were both 4 game series with a visiting team. Which we have again here with Atlanta. Not sure what the reasoning behind that trend is but, I would tread very carefully tonight.

I personally will be putting a bet down just to get back my "A" game money. Give up on a profit for this series and (they've both been small fav/dog bets anyway) let go of the "B" game loss.

I'm done with Boston after this chase.  They're now 1-6 during these series,  and I have little confidence in them getting a win tonight or tomorrow.   Either way,  I'm done with them.

Really could use a Boston and Atlanta win today

Atlanta should win pretty easy today. I dont like a chase to go to the C bet. Its costly and time consuming.

Just getting an early start here. I know the RPI's will change over night, but as of now looks like the only for sure play will be Baltimore at home vs Angels.

Detroit @ KC (I might play this one myself off the record because the tigers will start good pitchers in every game of the series)
