NHL Road chase

Any chasing 3-game road trips?  I guess it's the JM system, so to speak.

Anaheim lost last night.  I started a Labby with:

A:  25-25-25-25

B:  25-25-25-25

C:  25-25-25-25

After the Anaheim loss, we're now at:

A: 25-25-25-25-43

B: 25-25-25-25-43

C: 25-25-25-25

Atlanta are an "A" play tonight @ Tampa Bay, while Anaheim are a "B" play @ Nashville.  Both $156 to win 68.  Heavy juice since they're +1.5 puck line plays

Just wondering if anyone else has been following the same system..

I do know last season it did not work taking "Road Money Line" for the visiting team against the team with a 3 or more home game stand.

I take the Puck Line whenever it's offer at +1.5 for my pick.  Otherwise, it's the Money Line on the favorite.

I went through all of last years games, as well as 2008-2009, and there were very minimal losses.  Martingale even would have produced some decent units, but a semi-aggreesive Labourchere should work pretty well.

I never bet AGAINST the top 3 RPI rated teams, or ON the teams with the 3 worst road records.

I may change my line to 25 25 25 25 so we can compare the systems.
I will not be playing that much though cause the juice is too high.

Juice indeed sucks but the Labby system nicely spreads out the losses.  Last years NHL schedule showed 147 total bets, with the "A" bet winning 98 times, and the B bet 43.  I think there was only 1 loss (dont have my papers in front of me).

That's around 100-110 units, if I'm doing the math correctly. 

I also read the home chase thread.  Seems just as profitable.  Might start following there as well

I'm looking at 3 different systems right now. Not playing all 3 but am documenting all. 1st year betting hockey so I am trying to figure this thing out with the incredibly high juice.

2 "A" bets coming tonight, Boston (-120) and Florida +1.5 (-220)

The "B" and "C" bets for Anaheim and Atlanta come tomorrow

just curious how many C bets came in last year?

147 total bets

98 "A" wins

36 "B" wins

9 "C" wins

4 losses

2 of the 4 losses would have been filtered out, if you avoided betting AGAINST the top 3 RPI rated teams, and ON the worst 3 RPI teams

That filter would have also cut some winning series plays.  But overall, if you Labourchere it, you'll recover any losses and turn a substantial profit

Have Florida +1.5 (-220) tonight on the previous "A" line.  $225 tw $104

Think I will stick to just doing a 2 game chase on the lab system.

A&B = 134-13

couple more b2b losses and you are in trouble...Think i will do a 2 game chase instead with the labby...

Yeah i think i'll stick to A&B as well.  At least to start the year. 134-13 equates to roughly +100 units.  With an aggressive 25-25-25-25 labby, increasing lines by +5 with every 2-3 cleared line, that should net roughly $7000 by seasons end

Florida cashed last night, bringing us to just under even for the first 4 bets

We have an "A" bet coming tonight on Colorado.  Take the +1.5 Puck line offered at -220.

Our labby line should look like this

The "A" bet will therefore be 25+25, which is $110 to win $50

"B" bet coming tomorrow with Atlanta, although I might skip it because their starting goalie is still out.  We'll see

I should have started with a lower line than the 25's, but I really dont think I'll end up losing $3500 with this system.  I'd have to lose roughly 6-7 straight bets without winning any, in order to lose the $3500 in total.

so I should make about 8 to 10 000 using this method this season if everything goes like normal

If we win 50% of the games, we'll make 50% profit.  So for you, it would be roughly $5000

But this system hits much more than 50%, so the 8500 to 10k estimate is about right
