NHL OVERTIME SPOILER

this is what I have come up with teams that have stats that have a Goals scored are 80 goal scored or 80 goals against or a 20 difference in goals scored  or allowed will not be in the NHL spoiler in Overtime if they get in overtime.
Teams we need to eliminate
NY Islanders 65 goals scored 80 allowed
Toronto  76 goals scored 88 goals allowed
Tampa Bay 56 goals scored 76 goals allowed
Atlanta     72 goals scored and 92 allowed
Dallas     68 goals scored and 87 allowed
Detroit     84 goals scored and 71 allowed
San Jose 97goals scored 59 allowed
Boston    82 goals scored 55 allowed
Washington 80 goals scored 80 allowed
I think this will eliminate and over scoring any thoughts on this?

 Ok  tomorrows plays since the new elimination teams
we still have 6 wins tonight we had lost with Atlanta going over the 3rd time in a row so the mark goes to 6 wins and 1 loss

I like the idea of filtering out that list of teams Now the system is more suitable for long winning streaks. Now that you have that and you re ignoring the under 5, I see only bad luck as a reason why the system could lose big time.

And, for those who are following, I think expertcapper mentioned how new this system was so keep that in mind. Always best to track and edit before going all in and investing money.

One quick note about the elimination of teams. It might have been better to calculate a number relative to the amount of games played.

Something like   (GF + GA) / # of games for each team to see how many games you could expect to see go under 5.5 .

Then remove the top 10 perhaps to reduce your chances of losing because of three consecutive overs. However, this might considerable reduce the number of games you get to play since every time you see one of those 10 teams, you need to lay off the game.  Unless you lay off the game only if both teams are in the top 15 which would make for an interesting variation.

Each one of these teams have 80 goals scored or gainst or they have a 20 difference in scoring or against I think this is a good strategy.

I think this is close to the criteria you are explaining.I am jts saying that any of these teams goes into overtime we should eliminate them there is 9 teams there

Tonight we get 2 more wins with Buffalo and Florida going under and NJ and Phil going under.making us with 8 wins 1 loss with another game we will be following NJ and Phil going into overtime
which we also had 2 teams NY Rangers and Pittsburgh go over the total as well leading them into chasing these teams for the next 2 games

Nothing on the schedule for Friday December 5 for games in the NHL spoiler so enjoy and Happy Holidays. I have noticed since I have started this NHL spoiler you have not seen may O.T. Games,now with NHL games eliminated we should be able to not get confused so much.

This is true by the very nature of the martingale system. Which is why it's important to optimize the system by determining a filter that would reduce the losses and maximize the number of wins.

 Only way to do so is to keep track of what is going on and then applying a filter that could help optimize the system.

My guess is that its gonna be very hard to get this one functional because over/unders have been very erratic in the NHL for the past couple of years. Mainly because of the rule changes and the changed philosophy of the league to increase scoring.

I'm still interested in seeing what the final record will be here but as I said, I'm not convinced that it will show a large profit by the end of the season unless changes are made to the criteria of selection.

Just like the elithepunk said CrappieMaster we are just trying a strategy , do not lay money on this yet its just like an experiment, if it works we will apply this next year , always try something first NEVER rush into it and always filter when you are experimenting. It take discipline and money mangement which hardly no one ever has. I read an article that 2% of the gamblers have discipline and money mangement thats why 98% of the people never make mnoey. You need to have a system that will work before applying any money.  Of the 98 % of the gamblers do it as entertainment and the other 2% do it as an investment. Speaking of which, expertcapper - will you be tracking until an under hits or stopping at 3 as you had suggested?

Meaning, as you document the system, will you still be able to tell me for how many consecutive games after an overtime game a certain team went over all the time or will you stop keeping track once they get to the 3rd game and still go over?

last night I won the 3rd game in the SJ series for 4units under...

won 2 & lost 2 others...

....essentially +1unit for the night...

i have put into play ..OVER @ line of 5. ...under @5.5

I will probably stay with it for a while since I am still winning

Unohuim  thanks for sharing in this forum. You have a very good point at it really stands out. If they play several games they have to be tired in such a short span or B2B.
