NHL OVERTIME SPOILER

 Every time you see a NHL game  that goes into overtime take the under of both teams and do a chase on them for 5 games till you get and under or tie, if you would do this since day 1 of the NHL season you ould still be undefeated. The results are amazing.
Example: October 15 ,2008
Final O.T.
Boston 3
Montreal  4
next game for Boston was Oct.18
Final
Boston 4
Ottawa 2  so go to the next game because the under did not hit just double up your first bet like go in 20, 40, 80 ,160
next game for Boston was October 20
Final in O.T.
Pitt 2
Boston 1 so there is the win
Montreal took 1 game on the 18 th of October
Final
Phoenix  1
 Montreal 4 it went under also
so you see this is just an example after playing NHL in O.T. take the under or both teams and chase it up to 5 times its undefeated in 2008

Yesterday St. Louis went into overtime with Nashville
Tonight St.Louis Blues play Colorado so we play the under in the totals for that game because it went into O.T.
so far in November there have been 39 overtime games
start small like try 3, 6, 12,24,48 over a period of time you will make money
in October alone their were 37 NHL games went into overtime I will post every day so keep up

might be an interesting system to track

have you went back to last year's season to see how this strategy would have done?

Last season I have went and tested this strategy after the overtime game this is how it turned out in the month of October 2007
Now we chase up to 4 games
Game after  30 wins
2 games after 8 wins
3 games after 6 wins
4 games after would be 3wins and 2 losses
if you went to the 5 th game 2 wins  and no losses so thats pretty good profit
20 if you went 10,20,40,80,160
$490  starting with $10 and doubling up

Interesting strategy just because the odds for the under are usually set at a decent price.

I'll be following this closely. So you will basically bet the under ( whatever the total is? ) for every team that has went into overtime. Does their next game have to be within a certain amount of days or any amount of rest days will be OK?

Good start so far with St.Louis losing 3-1 in Colorado so already a win.

It don't really matter remember just chase the next 4 games until you hit the under.

Florida  so wait till they play the next game and bet the under I follow 4 games if they don't hit the under go on but rarely they won't hit but it does happen

TB plays the 28th and the Rangers and Florida, and New Jersey plays the 29th

OK, got it. Just wanted to make sure I had your filters set up properly.

Although chasing only 4 games and stopping might lead to undesired losses when you could continue a bit longer considering the odds are not that low for unders this season in the NHL.

Actually elitepunk if you only went 3 games it would be the same because the longer you go the more money you have to risk
I  have been doing some research if you would stop at 3 games last October for the month you would have had 44 wins and 5 losses at $20
would of been $880 plus 5 losses would of been $400 in losses would be a profit of $480. Now if you would of went just 2 games would off had 38 wins 11 losses
38x $20= $760 but will 11 losses $440 in losses would be a profit of $220
Now going 5 games $20 a game risking more money you would of had a profit of $980 but risking up to $320 at one point on a game if you lost it would be disastrous.

Well , yeah , that's the point of a chase strategy and that's why it will be interesting to track this system because if 5 games is the longest losing streak you reach, I say you should martingale your way through it just because of the relatively high odds you'll be betting on.

But, if you do see a 6 game losing streak where all games hit the over, then it would be better to optimize the system like you said and stop at a desired amount of games to increase profits while chasing less.

Even if you just played the next game you would have 30 wins x $50= 1500 and 19 losses x 50 =$950 still a profit of $550

Are you referring to this season with these numbers? That's pretty good for system picks.

Also, I'm assuming you'll be doubling your bet on the under for games where both teams that are playing also went to overtime during their last game, right?

actually that was October of last year, I had to check back and do research. I am going to see what would happen this year in October.
I'll keep you posted, work to do, just be patient, and no that's one month  if you would of played $50 per game last yera in October . I am going to do research this year in October. WE will see and I will be posting here later.

Ok, yeah I realized it was quite intense to track the plays in earlier months because you need to know what the total was set at each game. Tedious to say the least.

maybe excluding detroit with 2 losses after 6 games

Are you going to chase the losses or straight bet your way through the first game following an OT game? Results are not as great as I expected in October although it's true selection is needed when dealing with the Wings.
