I actually did some testing on this system back to the lockout year and came out with some improved results with a few tweaks. If you drop the initial line required to start a streak to -120 and allow a streak to start in the middle of a longer home stand that did not meet the criteria in game #1, but then is listed at -140 or better and still has at least 3 games are left on that home stand you end up with an increased return after applying a few basic filters.
Since the 05-06 season you would have
A - 356-205
B - 114-91
C - 61-30
Wins - 531 - 88.5/yr
ABC Loss - 30 - 5/yr
Last night ended up being a 4-0 night with Pittsburgh, Washington, Florida, & Dallas

That's interesting pistol589. I'm wondering what the filters are that you're using? I was wondering about double-dipping in series that come in on the A game but still have at least 3 home games remaining as well, but never bothered back checking. Your system has about a 95% win rate over a pretty big sample size, that's decent. I wonder if you explained your system in detail, maybe we could all brainstorm some additional tweeks that would get the win rate even higher at the expense of a little less action. Like, how many of your losses came from lowering the starting line to -120 as opposed to how many came from starting in the middle of a homestand. If you start a thread I'd be interested in following.

The original system back tested to:
A - 319-179
B - 99-80
C- 48-32
Adding the additional starts in the middle where the 1st game didn't transfer gets you 85 more wins and 5 more ABC losses
Dropping the 1st game line to -120 or higher and then adding filters for not playing home stands that start in the first two games of the season, not betting on teams that have already had an ABC loss during the year, and not betting on home stands directly leading up to, stretching over, or directly out of the olympic break takes away 65 wins and eliminates 7 ABC losses.

That's awesome glefkb01, thanks. I haven't really been able to pay too close of attention the last week or so, luckily it looks like I only missed one play, SJ on Dec. 1. Hey pistol, great I will follow your systems with interest. The more of us keep trying to figure out ways to win consistently, the better. I think it's impossible to come up with a perfect system, but it is possible to come up with systems that will make you money in the long run with good money management.
