NHL Opening Game Favorite 94-1 in 2009
whats up guys been betting for years but i never used a system to chase can some one please explain what a labby chase is? like say my unit size is 100 bucks game A of the chase is -150 so i do 150 to win 100 and lose so now game B is -200 how much do i bet do i bet 300 to win back the 150 i lose or what? thanks in advance
What you are describing is called Martingale. You would bet to win the 150 you lost plus the 100 you wanted to win each chase. As you can see the dollar amounts would escalate very quickly, especially if you had to chase to a C bet. Labouchere money management limits the risk. You may want to google search it. If you still have questions after that, send me a PM.

Where did people get the idea that odds greater than -180 means it isn't a play? I've seen a few comments like this now, but I don't where the idea came from. By the way, it's therizz's system, he invented it.

Hye rizz , are you using a labby line or martingale for this? How many units would the 1 loss cost us in a martingale? thanks for the input , cannot wait for baseball
9.6 units were lost via Martingale.
Thus, with $100 units, one would be up $4140 over the season to date.

From the very 1st post two years ago:
--Playing puck line for games -180 or higher will add 2 or 3 losses per season but with much lower odds....
This is why I didn`t think PHO was a play...would rather make money than lose money. Also a good idea to look ahead when starting the 3 gamer. If they play Vancouver and Detroit games 2 and 3, might make sense to stay away. Anything can happen in NHL but not something I`d be confident Martingaling.

Are you functionally retarded? My statement was pretty straightforward.

OK, but I interpret that a little differently. It seems to me that series starting out at -180 or higher odds are even more sure of a play rather than not being plays at all. In fact, PHO won their B game 3-0 in the series in question if I remember correctly, so a puckline win. Anyway, I agree that it doesn't hurt to back off from making a bet that you're not sure of, nobody ever went broke that way, but the PHO series was still an official play, whether you felt good about it or not.
