Heck yea I remember FCHU. Wish he was still around. He had an uncanny ability to pick the right angle and change it up when things were going bad, but it was hard to keep up with him esp with so little time in between quarters.. His thread is what got me thinking about this... crunched the numbers and figured out a lot of what was behind his success. I am sure there are angles for overs/unders, and team totals also, but I don't have the lines by quarter to test against.
Sorry guys ATL looks like dog crap tonight from an execution standpoint. Be very careful with chasing them.

Yeah, I only played 1st q on ATL because the second qtr line was crap. 8 pt spread and they want you to drop 4 on a quarter... luckily everyone should have gotten a push at worst and maybe a win. The playoffs are a different animal!
Yea I am trying to incorporate some filters for the opening game favorite chase. At this point it is more a matter of tracking as it is hard to know what the best options will be. Right now with every new series that starts, I am recording the over/under, differential from Teamrankings (nabil's system), and series prices. I am thinking that should give us enough info where we can look back after a couple months or the entire season and really find a way to hammer it.

Do you remember how FCHU would say that the televised NBA games were rigged? For example, if the favorite came in on the first game, the undergo would win 2nd game ( or was it both favs or both dogs) That was crazy. even crazier he would be right when all was said and done!

Guys my picker is obviously broken tonight. I only played the 1st qtrs and went 0-2!!! I am just going to post the numbers for tomorrows matchups. If you guys find value in having them, these elimination games are tough to cap, you expect teams to come out and play hard and they are just going through the motions. I think I am going to shut it down personally until the next rounds start. I will put up the numbers for tomorrows games. Good luck if you end up playing them...

DEN hits in 3rd qtr if anyone is chasing . Kind of a rough night, as far as not hitting early. Staying with the intent of the system we would still have had 2 more victories tonight. We have already made previous plays on the two series for tomorrow so I just reposted the numbers. If I play tomorrow would prob roll with the home teams again but at this point am thinking about waiting until the next round of matchups

Also i have a certain chase system that i just finished doing the backtesting on from 1990-present for NBA AND MLB that i found that has never encountered enough losses to eat up the alotted bankroll.Thats 20 plus years of data, so its pretty significant. I am no way shape of form a tout, i just use simple tech analysis to get my "zones of entry" coupled with fundamental analysis to give me the best exact entry to start my system. How can you say in one sentence you aren't a tout and in the next tell people you will give them the info for free??? We are trying to help each other make some money here, not make money from the other members pockets. Good luck with your systems. I've been following your system and have done pretty well so thank you for sharing - I'm going to go against the grain tonight though.
The Suns have won both 1st qtrs in Portland and I think they'll put tremendous emphasis on the way they start tonight's game because of their extremely poor start in game 5.

sorry man missed your post. Laid off 2nd qtr. Hit SA and PHX tonight and called it good after last nights slow start. Was honestly going to play POR 1st qtr but the road team was winning so many of the 1st qtrs and there were better odds. Hopefully you got that one.

no I stayed off 2q portland. but 3rd q portland at -2 looks tempting. early playoff games are too volatile for me. look at #2 dallas losing series!
