So just for the record - i'm terrible at tracking and maintaining threads - but I pormised Irage I would track the MLB Super Systems for a week.

·         Today’s matchups are updated from baseballpress.com when you click the “Update Schedule” button

·         All the data needed for Systems #1- 6 are updated  when you click on the “Update Data” button

NYY is a no play because the TB has a better pitcher on the mound - but may be a play tomorrow depending on the pitching mathcup

What do you mean with system 6?

 

Deland - if you look in the PDF there is a website.  On the website there is a link in the menu that says "Ebook Revisions"   - the original author of the PDF added updates to the system as well as a system #6 - go to the website to get details on system#6.  Latly, make sure you download the latest version of the spreadsheet - IF your spreadsheet does nto have a system #6.  I added it as a later date.

Note: on the ATL game – according to the system we should lay off the bet where the opponent has a better pitching edge and wait for the next game in the series. So even though ATL is a B game today – we will wait till game 3

SEA won yesterday – so we are off the chase

We skipped the ATL game due to the pitching matchup – too bad – we would have won – but think about how much we would have lost

Game#3 does not qualify – so it looks like we have to take a loss on ATL – but we are still up – so that’s the good news

Degen,

Can you explain the excel sheet. I assume the blue highlighted teams under the system play columns are the plays and the other team names are filtered out plays? When I updated the sheet today the two highlighted plays under system 2 were LAA and MIA (not NYY and MIA). Can you help me understand?

  Hey DG, A couple ?'s 1. did the site work for the bullpen pichers stats ?, 2. do you have any excel type systems for football ? 

mattymeach - not sure why it didn't list the right plays on your spreadsheet - it shoul dhave listed NYY and MIA.  Are you sure you updated the schedule and pressed the update data button? 

Can you download the latest version and try again today - and see if it matches up with what I post?

GShawk - yeah I should be able to scrape the site you posted to get last 7 days bullpen stats.  I managed to get the data into a spreadsheet automatically with a web query but am still working on formatting, but it seems doable.

As far as football - I have a couple of systems in excel - but not sure how good they are.  On their own they were 50% - so they need some cut filters and addtional handicapping.

I need to redo these in excel - and I will share those at well.  But I think it may good for a high level lean - but need to figure out other things to look at for football.

Yes that correct MattyM - I was going to post it - but wasn't able to get to a PC - I didn't want to post from my phone

DG, what's the YTD so far for this? Last night was 5-0. Pretty solid night and the thing was SD was against the RPI play.

Is there anyway to backtest these systems or do you have the results of how they have been doing all season/which systems are doing better than others?

@ mattymeach - all I did is automate the systems outlined in the PDF - take a look at the PDF that is the first link the thread - it has some backtest data from 2011 - but you're guess is good as mine if it's accurate.  Also - the author of the PDF has a website - where he post updates and results - check that out too - I think it has some record of 2012 - https://www.guide-to-baseball-betting.com/

 

@ BookieCrusher - Unfortunately, I haev not tracked these systems all year - so I don't have YTD - I only have week to date.  And as I mentioned in the beginning of the thread - I am only going to track for a week or so - after that, i'm hoping some motivated individual will take over.  I am horrible at maintaing threads and tracking stuff.

I have the latest spreadsheet, and all the plays mentioned are there.  But, for some reason, the Oakland game isn't even listed in the schedule of games.  Yes, I did click 'Update schedule', but it's not showing up.  Any idea what could be wrong?

DG, could u post the plays here as well? I cant update the sheet dont know why and I dont have access to a pc most of the time. If that would be okay. I'm assuming Was, Stl are plays right? Any others?

For some reason when I try to update the spreadsheet, the Debug menu comes up. I also didn't get OAK at a play yesterday but I got ATL as one. Anyone else having problems with this? Does anyone have the plays for today? I would be more than happy to track all of this but for some reason when I update my version 5, I don't get the same plays Degen does.
