$866??? Wow! that's a lot of LOOT! Glad I'm not as stupid as the people who go to Vegas like you.  BTW, Vegas wasn't built on winners.

Hes right though B2W, mathematically speaking in a sense if you were playing the 3 games and chasing each one in addition to what you're trying to win from each series.

    From what i played:

    TEX A (-205) $100
    = -205

    TEX B (-250) $305
    = -762.5

    = - $967.5

    and so on.

As much as I respect the system and have been doing well minus the past week with some adjustments, he's not "stupid" for putting that much money down. My bankroll is 16,500$. Am I stupid for chasing each series with $500? What you should be asking is what his bankroll is invested into this system and asking what percentage hes risking on each series from it. Money doesn't matter in this, its percentages.

Also a heads up, for anyone (and I hope everyone knows) Todd Fuhrman. I will be writing an article for him on his website regarding this system and the long term success of it with added filters. I'll make sure to post the link, and obviously credit will be given to B2W for reasons that its not my system. However, I see some simple factors to creating long term success with this system which will be noted in the article.

No one should panic. This has backtracked success for over several seasons. Block out the psychological factors that will occur in this and risk a starting bankroll of money you're willing to give up.

Here's the problem choe20, it's not that he is not correct, but it's the fact he came in attacking and  posting negatively.  The fact is, WE ALL KNOW THE RISK in chase systems. Especially this one with such high juice.  He's not giving us any information we do not understand. He's only here for an argument. What positive thing did he (bigtenwatto) post? Please tell me?

It's not what you say, it's how you say it.  If someone comes in here posting negatively, I gotta go to bat for my fellow bettors.  I'm starting to hear so much negativity that I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't the covers.com experts trying to get us out of here and into thier pockets. I mean look at you choe20, a new member since 2012 with 19 posts.  HMMMM?????  So you JUST JUMPED ON BOARD LAST MONTH AND STARTED BLINDLY BETTING THIS SYSTEM?  And you saw my mistake of starting the system too early??? That's 2 losses right out the gate and you still follow? Come on.  Personally, I would be stupid to just find a system last month, loses 2X and continue on board betting $500 a game at -200 juice, and now you have the experience to write about it?  Hell, at least BigTenWatto has been around a while. How much backtesting DO YOU REALLY KNOW? Have you done any? NOPE.

And yes, only bet with money you are willing to lose.

Man, soon I will have the L.A. Times and Wall Street Journal knocking on my door.

You should always have enough $$$ in reserve to hedge a bet when the shit hits the fan! As soon as I heard TEX was resting key players, I bet on KC and lost a little juice.

Ok heres where you're totally wrong...:

1.) Me being a new member has nothing to do with what I post. I followed the system last year and decided to join to congratulate you on the success you've had. I assume than that you would make assumptions that I blindly tailed this last month because of that. Me being a new member and in any relation to someones "post count" has nothing to do with their knowledge in any sort of way.

2.) 500$ is 3% of my investment as I already stated my bankroll. Everyone values money differently.

3.) I already posted in this thread how I have added different filters and strategies. I am currently [51-6-0] with 2 losses being from a 3 game loss, 2 being a 2 game loss and 1 being just a 1 game loss that i used in one of my filters. My ROI currently stands around 20% so i'm pretty sure I have some sense in what I am doing...

It's kind of sad that you judged someone on their knowledge of sports handicapping because of their post count.. I've been a member for a while over on SBR and literally made this one to congratulate you on your success. Then again, I don't blame you because there are a lot of arrogant posters on this thread.

All I simply pointed out was that you two were arguing about dollars which is wrong. Discuss about percentages cause units/dollars dont mean anything in this system.

I agree about the negativity in his post but all I merely said was to look at it from percentages not by dollars. Also, I never said the system was black and white. Actually, this system has the potential to create substantial returns. It has the possibility to make you very profitable.

Amen, it looked more like a backhanded compliment on your last line, and still does. Anyway, I'm glad to be of service. Glad you could start a system using some other filters.

Really all you need to do is look at this in relation to the stock market. From what I have (and i know my record for 2011 is off so lets look at 10' and 09')

    2010: 74-1-0
    2009: 76-2-0

Lets say in theory each loss is about 10-12 wins. Invest 3% and your ROI by the end of the season is between 120-140%. Although a small sample size any return of 30% or more in sports betting is amazing.

All it comes down to is how large your bankroll is. Lets say this is consistent for the next 5 seasons. I would even say I would invest (eventually) anywhere between 200 - 400k into this and risking around 1-2%.

I grew up learning the market and applying everything through statistics as well as learning psychological behaviour's that occur within investments.

B2W- Props to you for not just flipping out and flaming so many people.  How you control yourself is beyond me.  I want to interject myself in some of these conversations just to rant at people for bitching about losing a GAME in a chase.  Not losing a chase, but a freaking game.  It's like what the fuck man?  Your suppose to not only win all the chases but have every single pick be correct.

Doesn't matter though because your system is only decent and I can make it/have made it better.  This is where I'm going to pivot the conversation and and try to discreetly start promoting myself and my awesomeness.  You guys should check it out.

But its a combination of being able to find a correlation between team trends in the current seasons with historic head-to-head data from 08' - present. Example, all the games you had as lean except NYM (so WAS, TEX, LAD, CLE) all passed the filter. Also, I wanna try and formulate putting together leans as a potential B/C or even just a C chase

Last december I'd realized all I wanted about "public RPI systems" like this one then iraqe wrote:
"Another thing t consider is regardless of the juice a win is a win. Even with the juice at -276 your still making money. Some argue that it isn't worth the risk, but I disagree. Most bettors can't see past todays game. When your playing systems like this you have to look at the season."
I disagree. I think it's hard to survive untill the end of the season with any RPI system. 5-6 losses in a row with -150 ML and game over.
