Gorges out for Habs, their blue line is either too young or too old.  I know the Pens lit it up last night and might have a letdown tonight, but the Habs D is porous as hell.  Price needs to elevate his game big time

Rough night on the ice yesterday.. been extremely busy all day, no chance to cap many games. There are a couple which I will be playing, but the picks will likely not be posted until very close to game time. I just got home, and starting dinner is more important.

Life comes first.. when I am able to do this full-time, then we can have discussions all day long and picks will be posted much earlier. For now.. it's a busy Friday and I just got home. Will do my best to get a few picks posted before game time.

Was a disgusting night in the NHL and I really don't know why.. Boston was extremely sloppy (except Rask) and St. Louis lost a shootout which was easily in the bag.. Colorado and San Jose inexplicably never even showed up, and LA was in complete control midway through before oddly self-destructing.

I HATE handicapping games properly and then watch those teams get beaten to a pulp for no good reason.

The focus is on the NBA tonight and I have a couple of big early plays.. up next.

Been a couple really rough nights, but I feel as if I've been capping the games right (exception the NCAAF Under last night). I expected Boozer to have a big game after his benching the game prior, and he did - too bad the rest of the team didn't want to play defence and Philly had way too many wide open looks. The Hawks game was looking good as they had the lead late and were going to have a shot at an open net to cover the PL before breaking down and letting Ottawa tie it up very late.

One thing I continue to tell myself everyday is quit listening to other people and let their thoughts on games mess with my own brain process. It's cost me big this week. So today I'm tuning everything out and not reading anyone's thoughts and going with what MY head tells me. It's Playoff time in the NFL and that has to have everyone very excited!

I'm not used to being below .500. It sucks. Time to get to work..

I've broken down a lot of stats for the NFL games this weekend, and found some very nice things.

Looks like a lot of money is coming in on Seattle today, which is great. I'll be waiting up to almost game time to lock in this play, hoping it will drop to +9.5 without having to buy it.

I have been creating arguments all week as to why Seattle will be able to not only hang around in this game, but actually have a shot to outright win it. You should be doing this for each game, and then work from there on making those arguments either false or positive.

In the end, the bottom result is I'll be laying the points with the Saints today, but will wait another couple of hours to get the best line possible. If I have to, I'll buy the hook and get -9.5 which is currently -110 at Pinnacle.

Dont think it will get below 10 at most places.  But good luck.  New orleans is legit but they are not blowing teams out like they had last year.  Seattle at home +10 really!!!  Guess well have some conversation after the game win on of us loses LOL!  Good luck Kreatture. 

Watch Hasselback throw the ball all over the Saints today if he doesnt get hurt.  That secondary is suspect.  Thats my key to this game SAINTS SECONDARY play!

Hassellback has had his two best games in the last 6 years against the Saints, so I can definitely see your reasoning there. My thought is Hassellback doesn't make it through the entire game. Saints will knock him out and that will be it. But even if they don't, I see Reggie Bush having a big enough game to open up Brees deep ball to quickly put up some points. Seattle gave up 71 Passing Plays this year of 20+yds, tied for 3rd worst in the entire league.

All week I was leaning Seattle plus the points until I actually broke down the hidden numbers. Either way, it's an NFL Playoff game and that means it will be AWESOME!!

The line has dropped to -9.5 on Pinnacle right now. It did about 15 minutes ago, too, for about 5 minutes before going back up to -10. If you can't get -9.5 I would buy the half point. Better safe than sorry.

Dbl digits too much to lay against a home team in the playoffs, IMO. I wouldn't touch this game with a 10ft pole,but GL.  I actually am rooting for the Saints to go-all-the-way again this year, just don't know about covering 10pts, or 9.5 buying the hook. Seahawks are freakish sometimes.  But as you said, it's an NFL Playoff game and I can't wait to watch! Have fun,all.
