Click on the Red Title to access each spreadsheet. From there, there are tabs at the Top Left of the screen which you can click on to access the Master Files, as well as each individual month.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Was a busy weekend for myself, a fairly good one. Really enjoyed the new movie 'Funny People', definitely recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor. Was more serious than what the trailers portray, solid storyline.
Hit a big winner with Boston Sunday, and with Tiger Woods winning the Buick Open. Tiger was great value at even money after the 2nd round to win, and it was a nice cash.
Monthly Recaps for all Systems are now updated on the spreadsheets. They can be accessed simply by clicking on the System title. I am including them here as well.
Tomorrow's plays are mostly complete on the spreadsheets as well, altho the Top 5 Home Team page is still incomplete. It will be updated tomorrow afternoon. The Playbook for Monday's games will be posted tomorrow as well.

    KREATTURE'S PLAYBOOK

    RUNLINE BLITZ

JULY RECAP - The RunLine Blitz for July was my most successful month to date. A record 21 Wins at mostly an increased Unit size of $35 saw a net profit of over $700. This included 3 days where multiple Units were achieved, something I was hoping would be possible. However, like during the 1st two months, there was a stretch where things became dicey for a few days. Unlike in the 1st two months tho, I invoked a Recovery Process to clean things up. I found this to be very effective as it made the following few games very less stressful. This learned Process can now be used for future trouble spots across all Systems. It is a capable tool I am happy to have gained. I look forward to August and continued success.

    HFOUDL

JULY RECAP - A successful month overall here on the hfoudl page. Fourteen Chases were cleared with a 66% clip on all games played. The month had started over $300 in the red, but a profit of over 11 Units has nearly recovered all monies. This was the 1st undefeated month on this page for me. I have been more selective recently on which games to play here, as I would rather be "safe" than "sorry". This approach will continue into August as I look forward to another successful month.

    TOP 5 HOME TEAM

JULY RECAP - Well it was certainly an interesting month for this page. You don't really see too many perfect records which show a huge loss. The Top 5 won a monthly record 16 Chases hitting all games at a win rate of 70%, yet managed to show a net loss of about 23 Units. This was directly accountable due to very poor Money Management on my part, as I tried to jump up in Units without really having a solid game plan. It was a painful lesson to learn, but one which was worthwhile. It is just another tool which I have gained to assist me on my journey. Once the problem was addressed, and corrected, I was able to finish the month strong and recovered over 12 Units in the final 2 weeks. The Top 5 has arguably been my most succesful System, if followed properly, and should continue to provide excellent results moving forward.

    FADING WASHINGTON NATIONALS

JULY RECAP - July was another successful month for this page as the System remained undefeated. The number of plays selected were cut in half from June, and this can be attributed to the fact that Washington has been playing much better baseball lately. Altho their record may not indicate it, they are scoring a fair number of runs, and the young pitching staff has clearly improved. The defense remains the major weakness of this team. The addition of Nyjer Morgan has been a spark to Washington as they now have tremendous speed at the top of the order, followed by tremendous power in the middle. The addition of the Take From Poor System definitely took plays away from this page as well the past 2 weeks, since I do not usually like to tie up multiple wagers on the same game. I have decided to eliminate Washington from that System completely so that focus may once again be given priority here. I look forward to continued success wagering against the Nationals, even if there are fewer selections.

TAKE FROM POOR, GIVE TO RICH

JULY RECAP - This System is just 2 weeks old now, just getting it's feet wet. Week 1 was a huge success and maybe it was just lucky to have done so well. Week 2 was a disaster which saw loads of trouble, some which I was unable to recover from. As with anything new, it takes some time to break in. There are a lot of plays to start each week, something which can be a concern if not properly bankrolled. A cautious approach will be better suited, as I believe this System has the potential to make the most $$. I will continue with this System as I tweak it here and there, trying to come up with a consistently winning formula.

Click on the Red Title to access each spreadsheet. From there, there are tabs at the Top Left of the screen which you can click on to access the Master Files, as well as each individual month.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to post it now since the 1st play is at 12et and there is very little chance I will be awake before it starts.

    LOS ANGELES DODGERS   +100   (game1 or 2)   10pm et

    HFOUDL

    OAKLAND A'S   (game1 of 4)

I have not locked this pick in yet as I am undecided if I will be playing this series. Decision will be made sometime before game time.

    Hey kreatture,

I just read the recovery process section of your Runline Blitz spreadsheet with great interest.  I had one of those days yesterday. Congrats on clearing a bad-beat in such a short time and making a small profit at the same time.

    Good Luck today

I am sorry, but I am afraid I do not understand your question?

Detroit is a play in the Top 5 Home Team System, and since Baltimore is in the Bottom 5 Road Teams, it is a 2 Unit play for me, compared to the usual 1.
Detroit is a play on the RunLine Blitz System since I believe they are the 2nd strongest play on the board tonight. The strongest play I feel is the Dodgers.

    Thanks dufresne

In the past I had just been accepting the losses which happened, but through continual learning I feel I am now able to handle any incurred losses through a Recovery Process. I can only hope any future instances will go as smooth.

Between my severance and employment insurance, I am able to live off this for a 12 month period.
I started very small with just a $500 bankroll and played $25 Units on May 1st. If you check any of the spreadsheets 1st page "UNITS" you can see my progression from week-2-week and month-2-month.

To simply answer your question, no, I am certainly unable to live off my "winnings" so far, nor was that the goal at this point. My goal is to continue to get better at this as the months go by, to gradually increase Unit Size, and to maximize profits over a 12 month period. Ideally, by the end of April next year I want to have a strong enough bankroll that will handle a $100 Unit Size.

Thanks for your interest and am happy to know people enjoy the spreadsheets. Yes, I certainly do put a lot of time into them. The reason for this is not so much for the Present, but for the Future. As the months go by I find it is helpful to be able to go back and read things over, especially during a "tough time" and see how I handled it. Feeling "emotionally strong" can turn a bad streak into a good streak quite often.
also, if I am still doing this next season, it will be nice to be able to look back to this season and see whaere things went well, and what needs to be tweaked.

    Cheers

What can you do???? I handicapped the Texas-Oakland game perfectly and made the correct call.. then some weird shit happens with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th and screws me.. unreal.

Another really shitty start to a week where at one point tonight I thought it was going to be a huge night.. I feel sick..

Click on the Red Title to access each spreadsheet. From there, there are tabs at the Top Left of the screen which you can click on to access the Master Files, as well as each individual month.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ran into some bad luck last night and ended up just 2-6. Another rough start to a week. Tonight I hope for a much better result than day 2 of last week's shocking results. Right back at it, here we go.

    KREATTURE'S PLAYBOOK - AUGUST 4TH, 2009

    RUNLINE BLITZ

    FLORIDA MARLINS   (game3)
    ATLANTA BRAVES   (game1 or 4)

    HFOUDL

    NO PLAYS

    TOP 5 HOME TEAM

LOS ANGELES DODGERS   (game2 of 3)

    FADING WASHINGTON NATIONALS

FLORIDA MARLINS   (game1 of 3)   SERIES CHASE  -  2 UNITS
FLORIDA MARLINS   (game1 of 1)   SPOT PLAY  -  1 UNIT

TAKE FROM POOR, GIVE TO RICH

    Chase 1 - to win/lose 1 game this week

RICH LA DODGERS   (vs. milwaukee)   game2
RICH LA ANGELS   (vs. chi. white sox)   game1
RICH NY YANKEES   (vs. toronto)   game1
RICH BOSTON   (vs. tampa bay)   game1
    atlanta   (POOR SAN DIEGO)   game2
    minnesota   (POOR CLEVELAND)   game1

    Chase 2 - to win/lose a 2nd game this week

    seattle   (POOR KANSAS CITY)   game1

    SPOT PLAYS

TEXAS RANGERS   (game2 of 4)   SERIES CHASE

This spot chase should have been cleared last night, but due to some bs, oakland lucked out for a 9th inning miracle win. Texas bounces right back tonight.

Dave Malinsky, one of the best Covers Experts, has this as his POD. He's been red-hot on a 13-2 run on Hardcore Sports Radio so that is enough reason for me to lay it down. His explanation of this game makes sense, Sanchez is the WORST road pitcher in the League this season. Big spot play tonight.

    KREATTURE'S PLAYBOOK - AUGUST 4TH, 2009

    RUNLINE BLITZ

ATLANTA BRAVES - game is on hold for now, this may not be a play tonight, regardless of what happens with Florida.

    ADDED

    SPOT PLAYS

    OVER 8.5   sf / houston

As always my units are small, but I always stress likes it's $1,000 on the line.

Un F'N real. Who the hell lets the starting pitcher give up 3 consecutive singles in the 8th inning, and keeps him in to face the 4th batter?
What the FFFFFFFF!!!!! That game had to be thrown. It just doesn't make sense any other way. Can someone explain the logic there?
I would have YANKED JOHNSON, ok, Pulled Johnson, er, taken the pithcer out after the 2 single if not the 1st.
I am done with RL blitz. Just sticking with top 5 home team.

I would have YANKED JOHNSON, ok, Pulled Johnson, er, taken the pithcer out after the 2 single if not the 1st.
I am done with RL blitz. Just sticking with top 5 home team.

It was a really tough loss, I agree. And yes, you have to wonder if some games are just plain bought off.. cuz you're right that was just weird what they did.
It's unbelievable how he could 2 hit them through 7, then get rocked in the 8th, and why on earth would they pitch to Dunn after falling behind 3-0.. extremely poor management they.

The RunLine has been my most profitable page so far.. it's not the end of the World.. just a really hard loss. Will look at the games hard tomorrow and try to find a solid Game4.

    Cheers

Tough loss on the RunLine tonight, game was going according to plan. I'll figure out a good play for tomorrow. No worries here. I don't believe a Recovery Process will be initiated, plan will be to play Game4 for max recovery.

Overall, it was a very solid night and I'm thrilled with a lot of the wins. This makes for a light board for Wednesday, which will be a welcome breather.

I hope someone saw the Spot Play on the Over and jumped on it. It didn't go as we thought, but it got there in the end. Never been so excited to see a Fielder's Choice in the 9th inning of a blowout game! HaHa  Picked up a couple of nice Units on that one.

Was only down $51 for the night, and once the RunLine clears it will show a very nice profit for the week so far across all the pages.

Some afternoon baseball tomorrow, always a fun day. Will post the Playbook once the homework is done.

Yeah, I missed the LAD bet by 30 seconds. I was gonna take the -2.5 Dodgers RL. $20 would have paid $80.
Insult to injury. At least I cleared the LAD Top5 Home Team.
Back at it today. I'm gonna have to split today's Game 4 into a couple games. I'm looking at Atlanta too.
