Wouldn't The Twins/Royals be a double Unit Play also? Twinkies are #5 at Home and KC are #27

The side is tough to call tonight.. I expect a great game from Felix. Also expecting Lewis to be dominant for 6 or 7 innings.

Hence, the Under play.. and we'll hope the Rangers can get a run late to win it. Maybe a walk-off?

Damn, this is very enjoyable watching this kid Strasburg throw. Happy to see such a strong support for him from the Washington fans. What a great night for Baseball with Stras throwing, and Stanton starting for the Fish.

    The future looks bright.

Big night going 3-0 on the System plays. Big clear on the Runline Blitz, I really hate when it gets as far as Game 4.

Really bummed about the Rangers Under. This line was 8.5 all day and 8.5 when we made it a Top Play, but I was out all afternoon and didn't get in until after dinner, just when the line dropped to 8. The push is better than a loss, but it should have been a winner.

It's been a solid night so far, would be really nice if these 2 late games could swing our way. Braves and Cards both currently tied.

I'm feeling pretty good tonight, had a great day and expect to be back on top of things in time for a big weekend. Tomorrow looks like we'll pretty much have the day off as all the System plays cleared.

I think I will really enjoy that!

    Cheers!

    GMSI,

Hey not sure if you will read this here, but I can't respond to your PM until you approve me on your friend's list.
We still have a couple of days, I like the idea.

I'm leaving you a note here cuz I am heading offline for the night now. I'll be back tomorrow around lunch.

    Cheers

    GMSI,

Hey not sure if you will read this here, but I can't respond to your PM until you approve me on your friend's list.
We still have a couple of days, I like the idea.

I'm leaving you a note here cuz I am heading offline for the night now. I'll be back tomorrow around lunch.

    Cheers

Wanted to take Boston RL tonight, as well, but the Ump for tonight's game has an overwhelming record.. 12-0 for the Home Team! I don't see how Cleveland sticks around in this one, but that Umpire record is enough to back us off this play, just in case.

Pretty quiet night, so think I'll watch a couple movies instead of any games. Law Abiding Citizen and Public Enemies, or The Blind Side and Invictus?? Hmm..

I can't believe I'm not on Adam Wainwright and St. Louis tonight. This should have definitely been on the card, but my personal love for the Dodgers has blinded me into thinking they have a chance to win tonight.

Sometimes, it's just hard to separate your emotional feelings for a game, from your business perspective..

I believe I'm going to jump on board and start following these 2 systems.  Thanks for the spreadsheets & tracking!

And the answer to your movie debate is to watch Public Enemies and Invictus :) I actually haven't seen Invictus, but I remember it looking pretty decent.

Welcome aboard ctm. If you have any questions which the spreadsheet doesn't provide answers to, feel free to ask me here or send me a private message.

I ended up only watching Public Enemies since it was almost 2.5 hrs long, and I had to pause 3/4 through to check the scores..

I thought it was a pretty good movie, but not sure if that is only because I saw a sweep on the board tonight when I checked the scores, haha.

Anyway, best of luck to you!

    Cheers

The Yankees keep rolling. Granted it was the O's again, but man are they hitting the RL at an impressive rate.

No bets on the Cup Finals last night? I took the Hawks as a purely gut play. Chicago just had too much going into this game.

At -110, it seemed like a gift of value. The better team won last night, and the discrepancy in level of play showed last night. The fact that the game went to OT hid how much better Chicago was than the Flyers.

Nice little positive streak going, let's keep rollin'.

I'm here every day.  I don't post much because my past capping has shown me I have nothing to contribute here.  I'm a tailer. LOL

As I read your filters on the spreadsheets, the RL Blitz still plays on Interleague games.  Is that correct?

Yeah, the Yankees seem to be back on track the past couple weeks thanks to some very bad match-ups. Shouldn't be a problem again today against the rookie Arrieta. This kid has a blazing 97mph fastball.. and that's it. But he's not a very big guy, so it takes a lot more effort than say a guy like Sabathia, or Broxton, so his control isn't very good and he's prone to walk a lot of guys.
His curveball and slider are not very good at all, and the change-up he's developing for lefties just isn't at the Major League level.

He does have quite a deceptive throwing motion which could make it hard for Yankee hitters to pick-up, but when a lineup like the Yankees can sit back on the fastball all day, it shouldn't matter. He's going to have to paint corners for strikes, and this is unlikely to happen as the Yankee hitters get a lot of respect. Umpires aren't going to call on-the-corner strikes against Derek Jeter from a rookie pitcher.

As far as the NHL game, glad to hear you cashed! It was a pretty easy call based on line movements along. It was a True Steam play on the Total and altho it didn't cash til late, it still got there. The lack of line movement actually made Chicago an easy play. Everyone was hyping the home team every game and the Flyers were pretty much guaranteeing a Game 7, yet the line didn't budge in their favor. The kicker for me was seeing what the Series Price was still at. Chicago -500, Philly +350. If the books really thought Philly was gonna force a Game 7, do you think they would leave a +350 line out there for a one game showdown?? So the fact the Hawks Series Price was still that high, showed they were expecting Chicago to win this game.
Hawks and the Over was a nice little parley.
The Hawks are my 2nd favorite team (behind LA) so I was pretty happy to hear they won. I can't stand any team from Philadelphia, they just have the worst fans in the entire World. There are some exceptions, as always, but overall they are just horrible.

Shit, gotta post the plays, game starts in 12 minutes! (Tigers!)

    Cheers

Absolutely, Runline Blitz will have a play every day as long as there are 8 games on the board.

I'm looking into doing something else with this System, as well. with Interleague starting tomorrow for the next 2 weeks, the Top 7 Home Team will have no Official plays. I'll explain what I am talking about later tonight hopefully. There's a reason I've been tracking the #2 Favorite each day..

Kreatture, I don't have time now, but the bad rap Philly fans get is overblown National media fodder. If anything is the exception, common, it is the handfull of a-holes that make the news with the crap theu pull. the majority of fans are fair, loyal and know their stuff about the teams.

The National Media people are lazy journalists, and anything that happens in Philly is an easy story and easy headline grabber.

If anyone thinks that the stuff you hear aboout Philly fans isn't happening in 99% of all the other cities, then they never have travelled.

One quick example: they used to serve beer at NFL games in the plastic bottles. This stopped b/c of the fans in Cleveland showering them down onto the field a few years ago. Or how about the fans that ran onto the field in Chicago about 10 yrs ago and almost beat the 1st base coach to death?

And the tired snowballs at Santa Claus story is largely an overblown lazyily repeated story. When the guy was interviewed, he said he thought it was funny, and agreed he was a poor representation of Santa, and that most people were not even back in their seats from halftime yet.

It happens everywhere, but unfortunately for the Philly fans, they are locked in as bad guys, and the media isn't gonna let go of an easy headline anytime soon.

Fans of every city definitely have their own group of "a-holes", no doubt about that.
My opinion isn't really from anything media-related.
And my hatred for Philadelphia isn't really related to their fans either. I have a bigger problem with the Front Office of some of their organizations and how they run their teams.

I actually feel bad for the fans who have to put up with all the crap every year, especially Eagles fans.

Good luck on your games tonight nole!

    Grrrrr..

Tigers just had their chance and Miggy strikes out.. Sabermetrics has really let us done lately, we expected Scherzer to have a good game tonight and the Tigers to plate runs in the 6th-8th. Good job by Scherzer, at least..

The Cubs should be putting some runs up here in the 5th and every inning after, so we won't give up on that one yet. Altho the way Sabermetrics has been treating us lately, I guess I won't be completely shocked if they get shut out the rest of the way..

A couple more strong leans for tonight, will post within the next couple hours if they hold up.

    Cheers

There will be no other MLB plays tonight.. completely focused on finishing preparations for the World Cup tomorrow.

Very pissed with the Cubs and their stupidity today. Tying run scores after getting 2 outs followed by an ERROR, WALK, WALK, WALK.
Utter disgust. I guess some things never change with the Cubs.

Anyway, Yankees RL tonight and that will be it. Will be doing some Live Betting on the NBA game. Should be another great game!

    Cheers
