OH, I met to post this earlier when I saw it. This is easily the greatest video I have seen in quite some time.

If you are a basketball fan then you know about the Lebron James saga.. Hell, even if you hate sports you know about this!

A lot of jokes have been made about James/Wade/Bosh being the NWO of the wrestling world. If you followed wrestling a little back then this will be even funnier to you.

I absolutely love it! Especially Delonte West coming into the ring and getting booted, and the fan who enters the ring has a James jersey on. Too funny.

    Hey Kreatture..

I have never lived in either , but have been to both many times on business, hands down Calgary is a much nicer city, in fact I have been to pretty much every major city in Canda a few times, and next to Vancouver ,Calgary is my favorite. Good luck !

On a non-sports related topic.. Is anyone here from Calgary by any chance, or have ever lived in Calgary?

I may be moving there by the end of the summer and I am wondering what part of the city would be best to avoid moving into. Every city always has a "bad part of town", and I'm wondering where to avoid in Calgary.

There is also a possibility of going to Edmonton instead. Does anyone have any experiences with both cities, and could you compare the 2 from personal preference?

Thanks for any information you can share guys.

    Cheers

    I think Calgary > Edmonton

I would avoid areas like Forest Heigts, Forest Lawn, Marlborough, and other ares in the North and South East. Some of these areas are nice, but still a little rough around the edges.
The subdivisions in the North, Northwest, and Southwest are pretty nice.

Thanks gmisener, this is exactly what I'm trying to find out. Which areas are nicer.

    Much appreciated with this info.

Rough start to the weekend, but we had been having a great run of Friday nights over the past month. We'll attack them again today. Getting some good lines.

Havin a little ping pong tourney at the house later, then headin to the club later tonight. Another scorching hot day here, the beer will be extra cold and the girls will be in shorter skirts, love it!!

    Cheers

Was a late night partying Saturday and busy day yesterday. Barely had enough time to update the spreadsheets. The plays were obvious anyway, and it was a great finish to the week.

Solid bounce back to start the 2nd Half as we cleared +21.83 Units over the 4 day weekend. We'll continue our attack this week as we chip away at that Texas loss.

I have a busy week ahead, especially Thursday and Friday. If anyone is still following this, you know to check the Spreadsheets.

    Cheers

Thanks Budman! I always check the day of the game, but I may have overlooked this one, since I will not be around tomorrow until about a half hour before game time.

Please see the spreadsheet on how I'm playing this Yankees this week.

    Cheers

Good night getting both games and getting some more Units back. Completely out-of-town Tuesday & Wednesday from 7am til about 7pm. Will try to update the spreadsheet tomorrow night for Wednesday's plays, but they should be fairly obvious anyway as there will be no new series starting that day.

    Cheers

My God what a long day.. just an update on tonight's games now that I have the lines for them. Also an addition with the Atlanta game due to the inexplicable massive line drop on them.

Absolutely exhausted, making some dinner then heading to bed in a couple hours.. 6am will come too early again tomorrow.

With their being afternoon games tomorrow, and myself not being able to get online before then, you'll have to look at the lines and determine the plays. I'll try and post something tonight before I crash, but I may end up falling asleep on the couch, so no guarantees..

    Cheers

These should be the plays for tomorrow, gotta get some sleep so can't watch end of games tonight.

Nice win by Atlanta tonight, never understood the huge line drop and was nice to steal a Unit there with the value line we got. Cubs are trying hard for us, looks like they just took the lead 8-7 in the 7th.. Hey! 9-7 as I type!

    See you tomorrow night!

Couple of nice afternoon wins today! Been a solid, stress-free week so far here as we've picked up +8 Units so far. The Blitz is on a nice roll right now and we're picking up a lot of bonus Units in the Top 7 with our new game plan. Looks like we'll have 3 or 4 new series this weekend to deal some more damage.

We'll continue to work hard on these games and build on a strong 2nd Half.

    Enjoy the night off!

On quite a run right now, the numbers are finally returning to the norm now in the 2nd Half, as expected. The 2nd half of July and August were sensational last season and it's shaping up to be another great run for top contending teams down the stretch.

It's no surprise that the teams who make the Playoffs each season are those with the best Home Records, and now til the end of the season is when they really do their damage.

Was a hell of a night as we swept all 3 Top 7 Home Team matches and for the 1st time all season, we're above .500 in the Game 1 Record now at 21-19 (52.5%). This number is supposed to finish around 60% for Game 1's, so if this holds true, there should be a hell of a lot of early winners down the stretch. Overall numbers now are 37-31 (54.4%), our highest margin to date. This number should also climb higher as our Game 1's continue to hit.

I've really attacked these games the past week and made a lot of Unofficial Series plays, and it has been working great as a number of Bonus Units have been picked up. Remember, the wins and losses from the Unofficial Games have not been added to the Overall numbers, in order to maintain the System integrity, only the Units won/lost have been reflected.

All series are now officially cleared for the rest of the weekend, with no new series beginning on Friday. But this doesn't mean we're taking 3 days off. We'll cap the games just as we have the past 10 days and continue to add on Bonus (Recovery) Units when we see a good spot.

The Criss-Cross Blitz is still running strong. We've picked up +1 additional Unit since we made the switch from the original Runline Blitz. It's only 1 unit so far, but that's +1 Unit we wouldn't have had otherwise. We also avoided a Game 6 play from the original setup, altho a Game 5 was still pretty shitty to have.

Maintain the Discipline and keep Focus. Be Patient in watching your Bankroll grow. Yes it was a lot higher before the Texas Massacre, and we want to see it back up there again. Don't think about how much it was before, just keep putting in the Hard Work over the next month and we'll see it back up there once again.

I'm preparing to move over the next week, but will do my best to make sure the spreadsheets are up-to-date.

    Continued Success

Philly is the 2nd biggest favorite on the board today.. how can it be a disagreeable point?? Did I misread the odds?

    I'll double check..

It doesn't matter what the view of the Phillies are right now, the play is whatever the odds dictate.

For the record tho, if you want to break down tonight's game, the Phillies are in a great spot. Halladay is a stud and should never give you a false sense of security. He's coming off a terrible start, so you should be pretty confident he'll have a great start tonight.
Aaron Cook has been lit up by Philly hitters, 1-5 5.70 Career ERA, while 5 hitters in the lineup tonight have hit over .350 off him.

If you actually break the game down.. Philly is actually in a very good spot tonight. That being said, Sabermetrics isn't always right and that's why they play the games. But the percentages are definitely in their favor to win the game by 2 or more tonight.

So, even if the System didn't dictate the required play tonight, and you were just cappin the game - the smart money should be on Philadelphia tonight. No matter what the actual outcome results.

    Good Luck

    Cheers

Kreatture, you know we've discussed this before. I dont question your system and i tip my hat to your discipline. I'm just saying sometimes I have to hold my nose at some of the teams that come up on the plays.

As far as the numbers, I see your point. However, the Phils are a team with no direction or flow right now. They are a complete mess. At least they are playing at home and Roy is on the mound. However, pitching is only 1/2 the battle. Their lineup is average at best. they are lucky Howard has stepped it up. Everyone else has disappeared.

Also, their defense and decision making regarding base running is suspect. Some of the players have a terrible baseball IQ. Like Victorino. One of the dumbest players.

As always, I am pulling for you.
