I'm up way too late.. tomorrow is gonna suck, cuz I think I have to get up at like 10am, and it's 5am now..   I'll probably just sleep til noon and then deal with the World..

Oh yeah, the plays! You want Action? Well here you go, you have Action! Busy, busy, BUSY weekend ahead. Of course it would be nice if it was just a busy Friday and we could enjoy our Holiday weekend without having to worry about what time we have to place our wagers by.. but that is probably just a dream!

All these series have been handicapped to the best ability, so onward we march!

TOP 7 HOME TEAM

Update for the St. Louis play. Line was close to -200 last night which is the Juice Alert magic number. If you read the spreadsheet, you know there was no line posted and we were waiting to see what happened today.
Oddly enough, the line has dropped a lot, so the play will be on the ML. It's juicy, but we follow the rules. That way nobody gets hurt..

I'm out for the rest of the day/night, as of the completion of this post.

Hello sir,

St. Louis -174 (was -171, but close enough), was for a hell of a lot more than 1 Unit today, cuz it was Game 2 of the series. If you were just starting to play this, as of today tho, it would have been to win 1 Unit.

Atlanta, yes, was to win 2 units tonight, on the +1.5 RL. Once again, if you were just starting to play this System, it would only have been for 1 Unit tho.

Detroit (-145) was to win 3 Units, yes.

Boston (-215), on the Fading Baltimore Orioles System, was to win 3 Units. This was a new System which just started tonight. As expected, it started off with a Winner!

St. Louis, yes, was also a -1.5 Runline play tonight. This was for the Criss-Cross Blitz System. Since it was a Game 1, it was just to win 1 Unit. We just started the Criss-Cross Blitz transition, and today produced our first extra Unit by utilizing this method. I am VERY excited by this System right now.

The only other play which you didn't mention, was the Yankees. But I now notice you did not post your message til 5:55 EST, so that game was all ready over.

So, if you jumped on all the plays you mentioned tonight, wow.. you had one helluva night!!

Hell, even with the Yankees lose, anyone who played this tonight, had one helluva night!!

I think I'm too drunk right now to realize how amazing this night really was.. I think I am going to be very excited when I update the spreadshetts tomorrow!!

We wished for just a busy Friday and to have our holiday weekend to ourselves.. and that's pretty much exactly what we received! Could not have asked for a better night as we cleared all of our big plays and are just left with the small Yankees play.

Apparently some people must not realize that the goal of Sports Investing is to MAKE money.. that is to MAKE +Units.. cuz we're closing in on +70 Units now for the Season..

Leave the guessing game to the others. All we do here is win.

Cheers guys, it was a very good weekend as we cleared about +15 Units.

Super pumped after seeing UFC 116 and hitting my 2 to 1 Parley of Serena Williams to win today, with Brock Lesnar over Shane Carwin tonight. Altho I was super scared in that 1st Round. Reminded me of the last event when Rampage had Evans down on the mat throwing bombs on him, and somehow Evans survived and came back to win.

Both guys were great class acts after the match. The highlight of the card tho had to be the Akiyama  / Leben fight (co-main event). Best fight I have ever seen, with an incredible finish. If you're a fan of MMA and missed this fight, please watch it! Incredible.


There will only be the Criss-Cross Blitz play for tomorrow. I'll post it once I look to see who it is.

I can access to view, but not to edit. For those who read last night's update, for today, you should know the Yankee line climbed, so Boston is our play.

Kreature,  I had Boston and NYY opening at the same line  -210  Did you see Boston higher somewhere?  BOL and keep up the good work.

I don't really know how to answer this.. and I don't want to be rude.

We've discussed the new Criss-Cross Blitz for the past few weeks. For reference, post # 229 & #230 discussed this, on Page 10. It has also been mentioned within the spreadsheet itself.

This, combined with today's entry on the spreadsheet, should answer everything. I am unable to access the spreadsheet right now to put in the team name of our play, but it can still be viewed and last night's write-up will be enough to tell you Boston is our play today.

For the record tho, I think you will be fine with the Yankees, too. No Hill, no Wells.

Guys I'm having an issue with Google Docs still.. I have checked with their Help Forum and it seems to be a problem with a lot of people for the past 3 days. Google Support said it should resolve itself after a few hours.. but some people have had no access for 3 days now.

I'm hoping it's just because of the long weekend for why they have not resolved the issue yet.

The error is a temporaryReadFailure when I try to open the Criss-Cross Blitz page. The link still works for it here, for viewing purposes, but I am unable to view and edit.

If this is not resolved by tomorrow, please check the thread here as I will make sure the plays are posted here, in advance.

Google has fixed the problem (for now) and the spreadsheets are all functional, once again.
 
We had a pretty remarkable week considering we had a Series Loss on the Top 7 Home Team. Even with that loss, we cleared +14 Units for the week. Our yearly total has now eclipsed the +70 Unit mark.

We'll only have a couple of games to start the new week, but they appear in multiple Systems so they are both equally important. We'll hope to finish strong as we head into the All-Star Break.

Focus.. Patience.. Discipline.. Hard Work.. this continues to be our slogan. If we take a break from any of them, bad habits will set in. Remember your Goals. If you don't have Goals.. sit down and make some.

We are still only making 1 play a day. We continue to track both Chases, and our play is the one which is deeper into it's Chase.

IE.
Top Favorite is on Game 1
2nd Favorite is on Game 2
  Play - 2nd Favorite

Top Favorite is on Game 3
2nd Favorite is on Game 2
  Play - Top Favorite

Top Favorite is on Game 2
2nd Favorite is on Game 4
  Play - 2nd Favorite

Back-testing has shown this to prevent more long chases and to increase our Units about 2-5 more per month. It doesn't completely eliminate the 4 or 5 game chases, but it has shown a decrease in the frequency we have to go that deep.

Detroit finally finishes off the 9th inning, so we're off to a great start for the week with another +3 Units. Since we have this series cleared all ready it really frees us up to attack this Texas game tonight. I like them tonight, but if they can't get the job done we get to come back with the str8edgeracer tomorrow night. That's CJ Wilson for you non-twitteraholics. Also, one of my 4 favorite pitchers.
