Yeah man, since the system forces you to play quite an amount of games it definately makes a difference...I highly recommend Matchbook, I didnt find any better...

What is the best money management tool to use here?  Any of you vets care to make a call on this?  What about a 4 line progressive Labby set up like this:

Game 1 10-10-10-10
Game 2 20 20-20-20
Game 3 30-30-30-30
Game 4 60-60-60-60

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

could you explain your thought process of how you've picked boston yesterday? those two teams were first group.

his first rule is that he plays everyteam which is in group one on their first home game no matter who they play .. it makes sence since a top 12 team rarely gets swept

then why was atlanta a play? i thought top 10 standings last year should be a play.

Atlanta and the Cubs are both in Group 2.  He doesnt just play teams from Group 1.  Re-read the 1st couple of posts and you should be able to figure it out.

I see that you are confused, which I can understand at this point...ARI and SD wasnt a play for me since SD, OAK and TOR all had the same record and one could argue that SD was in group 2 (which is fair), it wasnt an obvious play so I left it out.

 

Seattle and Oakland is the same thing, with OAK beeing the home team you could argue that they are a group 3 team hosting one from group 2...it was just not an obvious play so I left it out...hope that makes things a little clearer...and as supereagle stated, re-read the first posts, most of it should be explained there...

HOU -132 @ Matchbook, Risking 1.32 UNITS to win 1 UNIT

Houston lost the first game of the series, therfore it qualifies!

MIL -137 @ Matchbook, Risking 1.37 UNITS to win 1 UNIT

Milwaukee lost the first game of the series, therfore it qualifies!

OAK -125 @ Matchbook, Risking 1.25 UNITS to win 1 UNIT

Oakland lost the first game of the series, therfor it qualifies!

TB(RL) +114 @ Matchbook, Risking 1 UNIT to win 1.14 UNITS

Tampa Bay is such a heavy favorite that I use the runline (as soon as there are lines higher or eaqual to 175 in both directions I use the runline!). TB is in group 2, BAL in group 3!

Just a thought to tweak your system,82.  When you use the runline, youmight want to use team's ATS record instead of or in addition to their SU record.  Going one step further, you could evaluate the game based on the home team's HOME ATS record, or even the home team's home ats AND the visiting team's ROAD ATS.  I used these criteria in the second half of NBA this year and it works very well.

Of course in the NBA, you don't have runlines.  You're dealing with point spreads instead, but the same principles apply.  By the way, 82.  I have no problem understanding you're written English, and your spelling is actually better than a lot of American-born Covers contributors.

Just to make sure I got you correct with respect to the ATS comment: When taking the runline you mean I should see how much money they made over the course of the season right? I mean, compared to the NBA or NFL where you have point spreads I dont know where the difference between the WL record and the ATS should be...

Allright, yesterdays was a mixed bag and today seems to be a pure dogs day, so I will wait a little longer to get better lines...the public should push the lines in favour of the favs but I will state the games here now so you can put them on your watchlist:

 

HOU for 2 UNITS: Houston lost the two games of the first series against SF and to be honest, they dont seem to win this one either. But a system is a system and you dont wanna change it, since I left the first game out and had 1 UNIT on them yesterday for today the game is set up with 2 UNITS and hopefully we will be able to get it somewhere in the +140-150 region.

 

CIN for 1 UNIT: its the second game of the series, the first one got lost and now its our time to get in with 1 UNIT, hopefully around +130.

 

KC for 1 UNIT: same thing here, lost game one where I was on the sideline, now I step in in the second of three and plan to put up 1 UNIT in the +130 area as well.

when you put the two units on huston .... do we factor in the juice we lost to on top of the 2 units or just play the 2 units and hope we get it back on the + line
