I think Call pushes ties for first into group 2 especially when playing strong teams.A pure discretionary call,I think. Ask him on monday.

seaotters work is what I have.Wash is a play, Houston is not.  Line 1 plays are       Bost  - Oak  -Pitt        Line 2 plays are  Ariz  - Sea  - Wash  -  Cincy  -  CWS............BOL   we need it today.      Call82 does not play bottom 3 ranked teams as well as rain makeups.

Hey Trebor, thanks for the heads up on the ties, I wasn't aware of that.  Not a bad day yesterday, 5-3.  Looks like only three plays for today with Boston, Seattle, and Arizona.  Houston's got to come out of this funk sometime, the question is when.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This HOU team may go down as the worst team in baseball history.  If comparison to the NATS from last year, the NATS were better because they could score runs at any givin time.  This HOU team has Oswalt and a bunch of mediocre pitchers and absolutely no pop in the lineup.  You know its bad when your bats are predicted to be aweful before the season starts and then you live up to it immediately with almost no sense of pride.  That means they really are that bad and cant do a thing about it except be bad.

 does anyone have a running total on how many series have been started, how many have won on game 1..game2 and game3 along with the losses to date?

Home early.   Hey Jake, not sure.  Maybe Call has that info.  He doesn't do weekends, so you might catch him Monday and see if he has it.

I thought I had a HOU winner only to find out that my bet was cancelled because of pitcher change.  To this point on the day I would be up over twice as much as I am.  Be careful putting in plays to early and not checking up on them.  Now I really need the Red Sox to come through or the day will be a loser.

Call is in the hospital and he will not be able to post the plays on Monday. He say he should be back on Tuesday.

At first glance, the schedule looks light. I have  METS    MILW   PITT    as plays. I moved mets ,wash and det to group 2 because of Tie.  Speedy recovery Call.

Trebor, I don't have Pitt since they're a grp 3 and Cincy's a 2, right?  I do have Milw and NYM. but I also have Cubs and Ariz.  Agree?  So, I'm thinking today we have Milw, Mets, Cubs, and Ariz.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

seaotter you're not right or wrong...Today you could not get 10 teams in each group because of ties. I tend to be conservative so I put the 9 best records in group 1 the next best 11 records in group 2  and so on . If you want more plays then you will rank them more liberally. Go for It. I think Call is on the conservative side so I called it the way I thought he would. No right or wrong till Call gets back BOL

ok was able to review the pages and got these numbers.

A bets W=63 L=43  59%

B bets W=20 L=17

C bets W=4 L=4 50%

full chase loses are Milw, Toronto, Seattle, and AZ. 

there were at least 8 total loses which includes 2 game loses when picking up after 1st game was played.

Also included the Minn series since the first game was played then rain out then they played double header. 

Did not include the Bost series since the first game was post poned and was not completed until the next day.

anyway this is meant as a guide or FYI on rough numbers

Hopefully CAll will post today. In the spirit of keeping this going, tonight is a huge card. We seem to be losing momentum (20-25 in May)   as weaker teams have been at home and to my count we have had 15 swept home teams so far this year. WE are due for a big night.   I see 11 chances to win...... here goes...Line 1-----ARIZ----CUBS---COLO---KC---TEX----STL---SF---BALT----       Line 2------METS---MILW---PIT.    As far as weak teams are concerned, I ask that you scroll back to post # 450 for clarity.   Once again if Call 82 posts, kindly ignore this.  BOL tonite
