On the contrary.. what better time to fade a team then when they have won 8, 9, 10 in a row. It worked last weekend when fading the Yankees in their series with Philadelphia. When that team is the San Diego Padres, it's almost too easy.
Remember their win streak came while at home.. an impressive 17-6 record. Majors worst road record at (now) 6-17.. I'd rather ask..
How can u back them??

True. But, why not ride the hot team until they lose??? Instead of betting them to lose. For example, the Dodgers home win streak to start the season. Take them till they lose! Unless the odds are ridiculous.

wagering on a team to win, based only on the factor that they are on a streak(7,8,9 games, regardless) would be considered, "blind-handicapping" the same would also be true, only reversed, in betting a streak team to lose, the factors are very minor from a handicapping point of view, and play a small role. reasoning; there's just know way of understanding when a streak is going to start, how many games it's going to last, and when it will end. But should always be taken into consideration, many views on this subject, this is only one..Your insight has substance, but there's really no stats, or research, to show a negative, or positive advantage, only the match-up within itself....

Good Luck with Arizona this weekend, hope they can squeak out a win somewhere for u. I've decided 2 not play them as they conflict with another system I am running and they are not a strong enough play for me. Hopefully Haren can get the job done right away 2nite!
