HFOUDL System

HFOUDL is short for "Home Favourite Off UnderDog Loss"

The system says to bet on a team that is a home favourite in the FIRST game of a series. The Team must be coming off a loss as an underdog in the LAST game of the previous series. You can chase for the whole series or play each single game (all 3 or 4)
Both the series' must be at least 3 games.
 

2008 Season
(betting each game of series)
AL = 123-72 (63.08%) +28.38u
NL = 120-87 (57.97%) +20.24u
Total = 243-159 (60.45%) +48.62u

(Chase)
AL = 58-2 (96.67%) +38.81u
NL = 58-7 (89.23%) -15.36u
Total = 114-9 (92.68%) +23.45u

2007 Season
(betting each game of series)
AL = 87-38 (69.60%) +39.50u
NL = 114-97 (54.03%) -7.25u
Total = 201-135 (59.82%) +32.35u

(Chase)
AL = 39-0 (100.00%) +39.00u
NL = 62-3 (95.38%) +32.23u
Total = 101-3 (97.12%) +71.23u

For those people skeptical about playing this system in September, take a look at these September stats..

2007
Betting each game: 39-20 (66.10%) +14.00u
Betting the chase: 17-0 (100%) +17.00u

2008
Betting each game: 41-17 (70.69%) +17.89u
Betting the chase: 17-1 (94.44%) +8.50u

Tomspeople - Did anything stand out during the 9 series loss last year? Something in particular? Was gonna research it but wanted to ask in case you have all the data somewhere convenient. 

Although, I must admit, the 60% + results by straight betting should be enough to satisfy anyone looking for the easy way out of baseball capping.

I haven't been able to find anything as of yet except that most are NL.

I think it makes no diifference what strategy is used.  I think you will profit. here's the type of betting strategy's I know about.

martingale --  double up till you win

straight betting- no explaning needed

labourche -- creating a line of 4 numbers and betting the two outside numbers. you can make your line any amount you desire but 4 is recomended cause lines are cleared quicker.

example of laubaerche line would be

1111

your first bet would be 2 if you win your line woiuld look like this

x11x

if you lose you would add 2 to the end of your line and your next bet would be 3 and your line would look like this.

11112

every time you clear a line you profit.

 

if your running more than one line it would look like this

1111

1111

1111

 

if I was running laubourche I suggest running a line for each series and moving unfinished lines down. object being to clear all lines.

question for tomspeople:
 
let's say like today, braves are -200 and off being a dog loss.  They quailify today...so if they loss tonight, do I chase the -200 I just lost on a $100 wager, or just wager $100 again on game 2 of series?  Im just confused how u are chasing...trying to recover  what u lost, or trying to recover what u lost plus what u should have won?

hi everyone if I understand the system I think the first plays of the regular season are cleveland and atlanta both playing march 10-11-12.  The way I'm playing this system is on a laubourche line and I'm playing every game in the series. just in case anyone is intrested in how I'm setting it up.  heres an example.
 
A= 1111
 
B-1111
 
C=1111
 
Tor @ cle  March 10 11 12 = A
 
was @ atl  Mar  10 11 12  = B

as for the labourche method it's just another type betting method used. and has nothing to do with the actual hfoudl system posted,
the other two types of betting methods are straight bets and martingale.  I will try to explain how I'm going to do this using the labourche.  this is my first time trying the laubaurche method with this type of betting system so I'm not sure how its going to turn out. The A for the cleveland bet is for the A line on lauebaurche method if cleveland wins the first game your A line would look like this  x11x  then your next bet would be 2 if cleveland looses first game they play your A line would look like this 11112 and your next bet would be 3. You would play clevland for a second game on the A line trying to clear it if A line isn't cleared move unfinished line down to the next series that comes up. always add your loosing bet on the end of the laubaurche line betting the two outside numbers.  you can make your lauburche line any amount you want but I suggest starting with 1% of your total bankroll.

Isn't this playing just 1st game in series, and if it hits, stop there and wait for next series? or is this chasing with recovering just orginal wager?

no I will post a few times for thge results that come out then maybe you will catch on.
 
I just want to explain one more thing. different types of betting methods used like the laubaurche , martingale and straight betting is used as a means of money management so a profit can hopefully be shown. betting systems are based on data from previous years like the hfoudl and john morrisson system. both are baseball systems but a person normally wouldn't profit without also using one of the betting methods with the systems.

martingale method -- playing first game of series if win stop and go to next series

example of this would be if clevland won their first game that would be april 10 today then stop playing on clevland.

I see clevland lost today so if your doing martingale method then you would bet to recover your loss and make profit so the bet on clevland tommorow on april 11

if your straight betting clevland or every game in the series this year your bet would be the same amount and never change

example of this would 1 1 1 1 it the same amount and $ amount on every game never changes.

ant, You could chase, or play each game individually. I've posted both results in the first post.

Also, the stats are regular season only.
