If helpful to you guys playing/tracking this system I updated my previous years sheet and got the USAtoday thing figured out (i think). I kept the league ERA ranking in there as well as the sagarin rankings, you can play with the filters up top to your liking but figured if both were showing it could help. If you only want sagarin you can just put 100 in the ERA ranking. hopefully it can help a few who like to use excel.

I had Baltimore as one on the cusp. It could fit in depending on how you evaluate the pitching match up and if you like Balt coming in with L2 record. Personally I dont mind it

I will be starting this but along with the parameters set for this system, I will also be using the parameters discussed in the MLB Underdog Chase system. I will not be using the series betting but just looking for dogs in general and looking at streaks, L10 overall, H/A records, vs Opp overall record, and vs Opponet at particular stadium. I think if you combine the parameters set by both of these systems, you will have ONE powerful system in general. I might even set up a labby line as well.

Royals (KC) are a play, Miami is +160; not a play at that price....
That is the only requirement I overlook. I am not strict in the +150 or under only lines. I am very strict on the rest I mentioned in my last post. Only two plays qualified for me today.

Ok, last week (Monday-Friday) finished 7-10 losing 2.09 units. I didn't track or play the weekend games as I had no computer access. Today starts a new week, 3 plays tonight:
Cubs +120
Rangers +148
Angels +105

I hope my friend....have to admit I'm a tad disappointed with the Stoffo system plays so far, but it's a long season.
Yes, I think the Stoffo system would be better if more parameters were used. Here is what I'm playing around with, looking at both teams in question...
- Dogs (no line maximum requirement) or small . Possible choose run line if the fav is really solid
- streaks
- current win/loss record with current pitchers
- L10 results
- H/A results in given scenario
- L10 games vs opponent overall
- with the L10 games vs opp, what was result in given stadium
If one team beats another team in almost every of the above parameters, it's a play. This also limits the number of games played per day which is a good thing. One thing I've realized is that playing too many games per day and/or chasing losses is suicide!
