After weeks of trying my own spreadsheet building, I also wonder if anyone is either A) Upkeeping or B) Selling a functional version of the Super System Spreadsheet for 2015? After awhile frustration sets in and you're ready to throw down some cash to make it happen. :) Thank for any insight!

No promises as I haven't used or looked at this sheet before but i will look at Leprechaun's & Degen's sheet tonight and see if it's an easy update to the 2015 season

For those who like the original Degen "Super Systems" sheet, I believe i have the required information updated for 2015. I DID NOT update the "Park Records" for the previous 3 years utilized for System#4 so you will have to do some googling and fill that information in the Park Record tab if you want to use it properly. I also did not check the original formula's to determine qualifying teams, only provided what i think is the proper information to determine those. To start out i would check the rules of the systems posted by Degen in post #4 and manually run through it to ensure you are playing the right games. Again, thx DEGEN for some great stuff to work with.

Thanks so much guys! I appreciate the generosity. I'm really excited to give this a whirl and make this season a blast. I owe it to you folks! I'm going to try systems 1 & 4, but I have a Baseball Reference page bookmarked where I can look back at the last 3 years in the same ballpark criteria. Awesome. Thanks again!

I made my macro, which is made up of all the "Call..." macros. I did a test run a few minutes ago...changing the time to 14:25:00, saved, closed and reopened the spreadsheet. I left the room, and came back...and it's running. HUGE time saver! I pull data from a lot of sites and mine usually takes an hour to update.

Dammit, nice long post wiped out.

The computer has to be on/awake for the macro to work, and the damn task scheduler didn't work.

Damn Updater doesnt work for me,nothing change,Sagarin ratings get scrambled,what to do ?

I have excel 2013 is that a problem or ?

Ya, sorry man. i thought usatoday's sagarin ratings might come in from their site consistently.....it doesn't. it will take a bit of vba playing to get it right. i will attempt it when i get a bit of time and update the link, not sure when that will occur tho!

When I try to update the 2 last files, Here's the errors I have in the standings tab. I have explorer 11. Can someone tell how to make it connect to chrome instead??

I made a second attempt at DEGEN's original Super System sheet, the original link is updated. NO guarantees as i dont know to much in excel VBA but for the people who liked to use it you can try this one and see if it is any better or at least accurate enough to give you some tools to make the system picks. Again if you are playing these i would manually check before trusting the sheets accuracy

GoodBadger,

That was all manual creation when the schedule came out for the season. Obvious downfall of creating the series this way is it could have mistakes and does not pick up the cancelled and make up games.

Hello fellow degenerates. It's been awhile for the old Leprechaun but I'm still out here and quietly visit the forums when there is time. The last two seasons I've had family and work issues and haven't been able to dedicate time the extra time it takes to keep my systems or any others up and running publicly. I thought I would be able to do it this season and then ended up traveling for half of April and May and having too many other commitments.

No promises, but I'll try to update this spreadsheet in the next couple weeks and get it working for everybody. Even if you just get 2/3 of the season out of it, you can still make a few bucks. If I don't happen to make it back to post the sheet, best of luck to everyone. I'll always be lurking...

do you need MLB?

I went though all of the years from 2008 and corrected the dates.

I even added a win % column.

Yea, it wasn't too bad. Only the games which were played between the 1st and 12th day of the month got screwed up. I sorted by date, corrected the first one, then filled down on the other games from the same day.

You should look at Statfox.com- they have a subscription service that might make sense for you.

In the spreadsheets, there is a Schedule tab and lists which game of the series they're on. But what does the * mean? I see A* and even double stars. Help
