All I can say is that 90% of people drown... so treading water isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm still up 3k which is not bad at all. It's a grind and you just have to keep pushing forward knowing that you are making the right value plays. I try not to put a label on the past 4 months other than it's a grind and I won't stop grinding until this bitch is finished. Some plays up in a bit.

Cardsfan, agreed that the tie looked good late only to have a 10-man underdog squad grab a last second goal, but they have a new coach who has them rejuvenated and I should have seen this coming. In the other loss, Colorado was in the game the whole time and it was really a coin flip type game so at +161, it was a good value bet.

Too drunk to legitimately cap anything but I'll see what's good tomorrow when I wake up... which will not be early!

What does a line of Ath Bilbao pk, +1/2 -110 mean?  And what does +215 mean for money-line (is that regulation only)?  Thanks.  I couldn't find a 'pk' +135 (nor do I know what that means).

I only somewhat understand these soccer bets myself, but to the best of my knowledge, with a 'pk' bet you win if your team wins, lose it they lose, and the bet is called off if they draw. My book doesn't off the 'pk' line, I have to either bet on the win (and lose if they tie) or bet on the draw. And the +215 is the odds on the bet, so if you bet $100 your payout would be $215($100*2.15), just like the -110 means if you bet $100 you get paid $90($100/1.10). Or at least that's the way that I figure it. The other common way for the +215 or -110, is when it is +xxx you get paid that +xxx for every $100 you bet, or at -xxx you have to pay -xxx for every $100 you want to win.

I don't know if that cleared anything up, or just confused you more. I've always known I could never be a teacher, not very good at explaining how things work to other people, only to myself. LOL

Thanks - helps a bit.  I still confused what pk, +1/2 -110 means?  That is an option on one of my books.

It means your wager is divided into 2 separate bets. Half is on the PK and Half is on +0.5.

If you were to wager $110 total on this, the book would divide it into $55 on PK and $55 on +0.5. If the game Draws, you get refunded the $55 on the PK and win the $55 +0.5 wager (+$50).

If your team wins outright, you win both. You lose both if your team loses outright. This type of bet is usually considered "insurance". People have different opinions on this type of wager..
