Thats right DJ.lol Hopefully someone has benefited. Keep in mind that most every pick in bases has been dogs. On the point spread stuff I was just below 50% overall before baseball. Because of the methodology of my picks, loses are gonna happen. Just hopefully not 7 in a row. Thats why I have posted on here a couple of different times to people who may be following that it may be best to jump on after I lose 2 in a row or at least 1. I wonder what my Level 1 record is? It cant be that good. I dont have time nor really care to research it, but anyone who is interested can prolly go through and come up with a way to make this more profitable. Im just gonna keep it simple for me and keep doing the same thing, but I would love for someone to break it down like Kreature did.
You are smart, not scared. My plan is, "IF" I make it to $3000, I will bank $1500 and reset the starting role at $1500 and move forward from there. I have just really started thinking about what to do from a money management standpoint. If I work it right, I think I can grow the reserve bank and the active role concurrently and survive the "armageddon". The greedy me says let the role grow and play the full amount because the bigger the role grows the faster it grows, but the realist in me says be smart because I dont want this to end and have to start from scratch again. Also, this is more for investor type. This is not for the person who wants to cash out every couple of weeks. From that standpoint, if I manage this right, I think I can easily outperform the stockmarket. My advice to anyone jumping on board is to set aside a certain amount that they dont mind taking a risk with and just play this thing through and enjoy the ride. Take the set amount, divide it by 247, and follow the Grand Martingale. You can start with any amount really. Although I wouldnt recommend anything less than $250($1.01 starting bet). Anyway, good luck and stay tuned. If or when I hit that $3000 mark I am going to start managing the money strategically.
Thats a good question Sahlsa. I always try to get the picks up as soon as I decide what to play. Sometimes I dont know until within the hour or two before a game goes off. I could say the safe bet is to check the thread 15 minutes before the day and/or night baseball games go off. If nothing is posted, check back before the West Coast games. There is really no good solution to this problem as I always get the picks up as soon as I know. If you check back though, hardly a day has gone by without a pick since I have started. So all following know to check daily. It would be nice to get a soundoff on how many people have actually been able to follow. I dont think there have been but a couple of last minute decisions. I try not to do that at all.
