Somewhere shy of 328-0 dating back to March of 2008.  If he was using jp's Grand Martingale he would be raking right now!!  I think he has made it to game 6 or 7 just a small handfull of times. He is alot more selective and obviously doesnt play near as often as I do so therefore his overall record is probably better than mine.  He doesnt keep track of overall record, so that is just a guess.  In all actuality, its probably not that much different.

Yeah eagle, at 328-0 using the my grand instead of the normal martingale, he probably would be in the green over 2-3 hundred percent more than he is now, bc for those of you reading this that dont know the grand, you increase your unit win per level.  So level one is say $10, level 2 would be $30, basically its a double plus 1 instead of just double, money management system. Eagle, words of advice if i were u, once you get to $2000, i would recapitlize back at $1000 just for security reasons and then give it the 15 year range if u like because you never want to really have initial capital at risk, if you can risk winnings or profits its alot less stress if u do end up losing 7 straight, at least u can look back and say hey i still have my original investment and go on to another day.  All in all good luck, once again...JP

Also i have a certain chase system that i just finished doing the backtesting on from 1990-present for NBA AND MLB that i found that has never encountered enough losses to eat up the alotted bankroll.Thats 20 plus years of data, so its pretty significant. I am no way shape of form a tout, i just use simple tech analysis to get my "zones of entry" coupled with fundamental analysis to give me the best exact entry to start my system. If anyone is serious about changing their financial lives and want this info at a very reasonable price, email me at jpanoma1@hotmail.com .  You can already see what my simple info has done for supereagle in his chase,  he simply just  took the chance to listen, thus hes reeping the benefits, you can as well....

JP, thanks for the advice.  By the way, the 15 tear thing is really a joke.  I should have said something before now.  The only goal I really have here is to see if I can catch ACE-ACE.  So from that standpoint, I have a loooooong way to go.  Remember, this is not about the money.  I set out prepared to lose the starting bankroll of $1000.  At some point I may decide that I am ready to bank some of the profits, but right now I am not even close to thinking that.  I want to see how far I can go and how much I can grow the role.  Will I be sick when the 7 in a row thing happens and I havent banked a little, probably.  Maybe at some point my feelings will change, but for now lets let it ride and have some fun!!!!

Maybe at some point my feelings will change, but for now lets let it ride and have some fun!!!!

i decided to lower my unit play to $150 starting with this portland under, however im also switching to the grand martingale going foward. im sure this will make for some stressful level 4 and 5 plays but being up over $9500 on this i feel its time to push the envelope and make the run to 20k that much quicker

I'm glad you are happy using the Grand Martingale Supereagle.. but it seems weird that you now actually WANT your first couple of levels to LOSE so that you can make a bigger profit when the Level 3 and 4 plays hit.. because you are actually making a few $$ less on your Level 1 plays now..

For a pure Chase System, the Grand Martingale is like mixing fire and gasoline.. from this thread's standpoint, which is a pure capping of the games with no set formula other than your own criteria (which is great, btw), you will definitely increase your profits when you hit a Level 3, 4, or 5 play..

However, I don't think I know any good handicappers who don't pride themselves on hitting that first game on a Chase at a high percentage..

Just some food for thought.. Continued Success, my friend

There is no doubt the Grand is making more than the Regular.. it's the same reason for people playing the Regular Martingale over the Labouchere - Higher Risk, Higher Reward.

Labouchere is for people who want to be safe with their hard-earned money, while the Martingale increases profits, while at the same time increasing risk.. same is true for the Grand over the Regular.

What I am saying is that the Level 1 plays are now for less money than was the original style, meaning it is in the best interest of the System to lose the Level 1 and 2 plays, so that an increased wager can be made on Level 3 and above.. thus increasing the profit margin over the Regular Martingale.

Compare whatever you want, those are the facts.. not saying it is a bad style, just saying it's weird to be almost happy when you lose a Level 1 play.. I guess I probably wouldn't expect a Tout to understand that..

    Cheers

PS. Best of Luck tonight Eagle, I'm off to the club for some drinks and fun         Go Pens!!

Sorry dude, I barely have time to keep up with what Im doing.  There is no way I can go back and figure all that up.  I like the Grand because I am a realist and while I would love to think I would hit every game on Level 1 and try hard to, I know that more times than not I probably wont.  Especially with my methods of making picks for this thread.  But Kreature is right in the mindset part.  When I lose Level 1 and am certainly not upset about it, although I would like to get above .500 in overall record.  Now, lets waste no more time!!

Level 1 play on DET Tiger
    $7.83 to win $8.38

    2nd play on Denver Nuggets

I gave the covers community a nice present in the reverse runline Texas Rangers -1.5 at +205, im sure not too many people took that risk, that was a simple case of technical analysis in the rangers having  a good zone to revert to the mean.

You mean you got lucky that the Rangers didn't lose in the bottom of the 11th with the bases loaded and just 1 out.. and managed to score 2 runs in the top of the 12th for the cover.. in a zero-zero game through 11 innings.
Great technical analysis.. you were spot on..

At least you are holding yourself accountable now, after hijacking everyone's thread.. good luck on your games

I'm bummed you didn't win tonight's play on Denver, Eagle.. my Nuggets have been eliminated, I'm so upset!! At least Kobe took care of business and Gasol hit a big shot! The West is so tight!!

I caught another awesome opportunity in live wagering tonight.  I got the Cavs at +162 when they were down by 10 in the 2nd quarter.  Was able to pick up 1.6 units.  They were -355 when game started.  Another steal.  If you use live wagering sparingly and cautiously and recognize value, you can slip nice bonus money into the bankroll.
