The Battle Forum Championship enters it's final day today. It's the end of a 2 month journey for these Gladiators as they fight for the coveted Battle Forum Championship. Grambus has saved his worst performance for last. He's lost 8 of his last 10 and has had 3 days in this battle where he lost more than 300 points.
Masterone has applied the same strategy every round, picking his spots and watching his opponents flame out under his stare. But has Masterone played himself. He has to pick at least 2 games today or he will forfeit the Championship. It will be the first time in Battle Forum history if that happens. But the mere fact that Masterone is forced to pick at least 2 games today leaves the door open for Grambus to steal the Trophy. Grambus did what he needed by going with 2 Big Dogs that came through. Milwaukee and Oakland both came through for Grambus giving him 407 points and putting the pressure on Masterone. Masterone has to make 2 picks and if he loses both than as long as Grambus wins or stays pat Grambus would be the new Champion. Grambus did what he needed by going with 2 Big Dogs that came through. Milwaukee and Oakland both came through for Grambus giving him 407 points and putting the pressure on Masterone. Masterone has to make 2 picks and if he loses both than as long as Grambus wins or stays pat Grambus would be the new Champion. The Yankees lost and the Totals pushed for a net loss of 110 for Masterone. Masterone knew that the only play Grambus had was the Yankees to overtake him so he took the same side plus played the Total because he needed one more pick. It was brilliantly played by Masterone. Grambus gained only 307 points and it simply wasn't enough to overtake Masterone. It's the 1st time in Battle Forum history that both finalist finished with negative points. Masterone will now don the Champions gear as the new Champ of the Battle Forum. Congratulations to Masterone on a job well done.
