August 5th is the 1st NFL game and college starts the 30th. The Superbowl is in NO this year and history says that means the Saints wont be there and I doubt they make the playoffs. Ive already been looking at the match ups.

our SFTC group has some entries that need to be dropped but that can only be done by the creator. anyone with a 0-0 should be booted they have had plenty of time to make at least 1 pick. some have not in months. Good things on the horizon I can feel it.

I think we're all stuck with these avatars. I emailed Rizzo a couple of weeks ago and he told me they were trying to fix it. That must be one hell of a problem that it's taking this long to fix.

I can't tell you how much joy I get from looking at Boston in the cellar 10.5 games behind the Yanks. This is after they beat us last night. What a joke the Red Sox are!

Im on the A's for tomorrow they have been on a tear and the Rays have been losing game 1 of a series. People will see the match up and jump all over Price but Griffin is just as good.

I like the over in the Cubs game. Bedard is not very good and the Pirates seem to struggle with the lower tier teams. with the wind and the O/U at 8.5 should go over. when the wind is blowing in the line is at 7.5 too bad a pick locks permanently. would be nicer if the pick didnt lock until game time

The California Bears dominated the 1st Place Str8ballin. Str8ballin has now lost 4 of their 5 games and some of those losses have been ugly especially when you consider they have come against the worst teams in the league like the Fireballs and Shanks. The Bears now find themselves only 4.5 games out of 1st Place with a date with the lowly Fireballs up next, the Bears look primed to take over the league lead.

Championship Continues The Blues For The Blue Crushers!
The Championship despite all the injuries manages to win when it has to. This week was no different as the Championship took care of business against the Crushers. The Crushers should be thankful that there are teams like the Fireballs around or they would be in the cellar as well. The wheels are coming off for the Blue Crushers who for a brief moment pulled it together only to slip further into the abyss. Now the Crushers find themselves on the outside looking in with little hope of turning things around unless something dramatic happens. The Championship continues to show potential despite some bad luck. After all the bad injuries the Championship is only 3 games out of 1st and look to continue their run against the lowly Tssajos.

Shanks drops Fireballs To A New All Time Low!
For the first time in Franchise history the Fireballs have been swept by the Shanks a perennial cellar dweller. In what has been a repeated theme all year the Fireballs simply couldn't get it done in the clutch. What had been a close game for most of the week turned ugly as the Shanks pulled away to secure the victory. More added frustration for the Fireballs as yet another injury on top of the ones they have occurred when both Swisher and Plouffe were injured. For the Shanks this could be a rare year where they actually might make the Playoffs. They are only 4 games behind a slumping Always 2nd Place and look to continue their upward momentum this week.
